    I'm with woolies, got 20% off the console (or, technically, 19%) due to employee discount and a discount day. Apparently deliveries to store should be there on THURSDAY so the more charming members of the forum may be able to persuade staff to give them the wii on thursday...

    dude isn't the 20% woolies staff discount day passed? well it is at my store damn so the 10% discount will do, however when the ps3 come i am determine to get the 20%

    What are the exams? I'd say to give it to your mum or something to put away somewhere, I don't think you'll be able to handle that. Especially if you're still browsing these boards with all of us talking about how fantabbytastic the thing is, which IS going to happen. Hell, I don't even have a wii yet and I can't manage to do any work due to it being the only thing on my mind!

     

    computer science damn how i hate thee , i know once i touch Zelda (or the wii mote) i won't be able to put it down thats why when it comes in gonar go into a locked cupboard and only be opened after 12th Jan ..............................................

    i watched alot of vids of people playing there wii and the remote flying out the hands due to the wii strap, anyhow i have just ordered this

    Where do you work and what are the discount rates? Those look like some pretty decent prices to me!

     

    woolies, pay rates crap, but staff discounts is great

     

    the console and the cable are both 10% off of each

     

    and the games where preorded during a special employee discount day to which entertainment goods where discounted @ 20%, sadly moronic manager didn't put my name down for a wii on that day (but he did on the games) otherwise i would have got £36 off the wii, BUT i have been assured they will do this special day again just before the PS3 launch so i should get £85 off the ps3 60gb vr bargain!

    Nice deals Comp/Sci, I wouldn't expect all that on Friday though.

     

    the great thing about working at a retail store that sells games/consoles is that apart from the discounts (:yay::bouncy: ), i will be able to save one of the said games/console for my self without any preorders :bowdown:

    720p movies: 480pnts

     

    tv shows: 480p: 160pnts

    sp far there are a decent selection of movies: like v for vendetta, Congo matrix (and more)

     

    and tv shows include: south park (seasons 1 2 3 4 5 10:bowdown: :yay: )

    Okay guys, your help would be appreciated.

    So I got Windows XP Medic for $30, it 'cleaned up' my system tray, registry etc as much as it could...no effect.

     

     

     

    lol why just use the laptops restore disk/partition? to format windows and reinstall
