  1. I don't think Brendan could purposely set up the team to be happy with a point at Anfield. It's against his whole mentality that he's trying to implement, and doing so well at the moment.

From his first Liverpool press conference: “I’d rather lose a game trying to win it, than lose it trying not to get beat”

    &

"I want to use the incredible support to make coming to Anfield the longest 90 minutes of an opponent’s life. That’s the idea."

  2. How can you be a manager and not have a philosophy? You HAVE to have a way of playing, a mentality and an identity.

Brendan Rodgers doesn't have a history of winning or much experience at all, but he has a very clear and very strong philosophy that he's got everyone behind. That's much more important than reputation or experience.

  3. So many people these days think you can only be an owner if you have billions to spend on players, and totally miss the importance of living within the clubs means and being self sustainable through marketing/sponsorships/generally increasing revenue.

  4. Yeah because Hazard hasn't been creative at all this season!

We've played some good football this season, with a proper centre-forward in the team we'd have definitely scored more, both from the striker and from a decent centre-forward bringing in the attacking 3 from midfield with good hold-up play. We've lacked that completely this season.

To say it'd be a shame if Chelsea won the league is utter bollocks. Whoever wins at the end of the season deserves it, you can't argue against the winner after 38 games.

Football can be played however you want, but the style Chelsea play doesn't interest me at all and is incredibly dull. That's just me, others enjoy those kind of performances, which I respect, it's just not for me, that's why I'd prefer an attacking and exciting team to win.

  5. A couple of questions. What happens if God forbid Chelsea win the ChampionsLeague, will whoever finishes in 5th place get Champions League football? Probably not.

Also, if Arsenal finish 5th and win the FA Cup does whoever finishes 7th get Europa League or will the losers of the final get the spot?

C'mon swanky Swansea! I could have swore there was a couple of big games elsewhere today? :heh:

Hope Liverpool and United win today. Sheffield that is.

    No, just the top 4.

I believe it'll be 7th who would also get Europa. It's 5th and the 2 cup winners who get in, unless they're already in through league position.

  6. We all get things wrong @dazzybee ;)

And Ozil is better than Eriksen. :)

I'm pretty confident Spurs can finish top 3 (ahead of United), though depends on how good bad the rest of the window is. I think Liverpool are still a fair a way to be honest, especially if they lose Suarez. Arsenal.. they don't look to be strengthening to that's a worry for them (glorious for me).
