The fact ihad it for free helped a lot. I work for a national company in their IT department, we had 16 tablets delivered last year by mistake... they were put to one side and forgotten about, we found them last week and decided to keep'em for ourselves. Although i seem to be the only one of us that has the Tablet edition of XP installed.

What antivirus program have they got? Is the virus definition up-to-date?

Core2Duo processers are normally only 1.86GHz per processor. It's the bridge between both processors that makes it run that tad bit faster. If you are going for vista make sure you have a decent graphics card, cos without Aero it's just a pants OS! (Scoring 3.4 on my Vista WEI Rating)

Incase it happens again Switch try running a system restore. I had a similar issue when installing my PS2 eyetoy as a webcam. After getting that working it wouldn't allow anything else to be plugged in. ran system restore and everything is back to normal... and my eyetoy works fine

I just got my self a HP TC1100 Tablet PC. Looks fantastic and runs quite smoothly... shot myself in the foot games wise though!! It Doesn't have a CD-Rom drive!!
