Sega Megadrive Collection arrived today, I'm loving it. There's a few games I've never played before like Comix Zone which is good. Also liking the Gradius Collection.

I may have asked this question before, if so sorry, but is Ridge Racer worth getting if you have already played the 360 version?

I think he was saying that he is sick of everyone slagging off the PS3. He's not saying it's a flop.

No way is it that bad. I'm quite enjoying it at the moment and would give it a 6/10 so far. If they sorted out the camera angles it would of been so much better.

God no! the Spectrum was crap when it was out. C64 all the way.

I have a copy on pre order with an eBay seller. So I should hopefully have it next week.

Resistance is hard online because it's so damn fast moving, but I didn't think the single player was that hard.

Has anyone played Metal Slug Anthology on PSP? I used to love the Metal Slug games and I'm thinking of ordering it.

I can't say who will win the HD format war. But just look at the last time with video cassettes, Betamax was superior to VHS but still lost. The fact is a lot of regular people don't know what a Blu-ray disc is. But with the HDDVD at least they would have a clue as to what it is. That's just what I think though, I could be completely wrong.

I'm on my second 360 and that's starting to freeze on certain games now. I love the 360, but after playing the PS3 it really does sound too loud.

I don't know what it is about the PS3, it just feels like a well designed console compared to the 360.

Anyone downloaded this game from the VC yet? If not then do it, it's one of the best oldskool shoot em ups I've ever played. I never played PC Engine back in the day but I remember they were well known for their great catologue of arcade shoot em ups. And it on my TV it displays it in 480p which makes the graphics nice and bright, other VC games usually revert back to 576i when starting up. Short Review of Soldier Blade.

I got a PSP yesterday, I had some Gamestation credit notes going to waste. I use to have one that I imported from Lik-Sang (i miss lik-sang sony!) but sold it ages ago. Because I have not played a PSP in a while there's all these great games to play like Loco Roco, Daxter, Killzone, Tekken and Ghosts and Goblins. And Metal Gear Portable Ops arrived in the post today. I also like the Remote Play function with the PS3.

If it's possible we should all arrange to meet up on Resistance some time. I noticed cheers I cannot download Lemmings or Blast Factor as you need a US credit card. I hope they bring out some kind of credit voucher when the PS3 is released, similar to what Nintendo do with the VC games.

Genji and Sega Golf Club turned up today. Genji is a lot better than some reviewers made it out to be, but I wish I had not bothered with Sega Golf as it's mostly in Japanese and can get confusing. I love my golf games but I'll won't bother with TW07 as I had it on the 360. Railfan comes next week, my nephew is gonna love it. PS3 update 1.51 is out! But I cannot find out anything about this update, everytime I google it google comes up with PSP update 1.51 or PS3 update 1.50 (the last one).

I have not bothered installing any games yet, I think it just speeds up loading times. I don't know about PAL games, but you can use a US game save on a Japanese game okay so I would imagine it will work fine.

I like the way you can access the PS3's hard drive with a PSP. I've been messing around with that function a bit today.

I would do but I downloaded it from the VC on the Wii. But that's the type of games I like, I think shoot em ups have aged really well and there's definitely still a market for them. I might see how much they are in Gamestation.

At the moment - haze78 But I'll change it when the european servers are turned on. Anyone else with a PS3 and online add me if you like. I know, I really am surprised by how much I like the PS3. It just feels right, and you can tell when you're playing games like Resistance it's not even breaking a sweat it just runs so smooth.
