I'm bored too. Actually, I got a HL2 mod to work on. Methinks I'll get on with that. As for you lot, why don't you all just have a match on an online game or something? That'd be a good time killer. Deffo better than mass suicide imo. Ohhh, lots and lots of j-rock. Awesome!! ^^

It's not really fanboyism, it's just people's opinion. I don't like the look of it myself tbh, the over-used gansta GTA style of gameplay is getting a tad boring now. There's just so many games being released that look much more promising. Physics are awesome you say? A lot of developers are increasing the quality of physics in thier games, so nothing new there. Derailing trains isn't ecaxtly a selling point for me either. In Dead Rising you can use pretty much anything in the environment to attack zombies, that sounds and looks a lot more promising to me.

My PC likes to shut itself down at certain times. It doesn't happen too often, and only has happened about 4-5 times in the past few weeks. Still worries me though. It's just happened to me again, so after a few mins I unplugged the power cord, plugged it in again and turned on the power. All is fine now. After using Everest to check temperatures, I found that my mobo is at 47c, cpu at 67c and my hard drive at 46c. I've heard anything under 90 is fine, so why it's doing this I dunno. My fans seem to be cooling it okay. Maybe I should clean any dust out? If this is so, then how do I go about doing it without screwing up my hardware? Thanks if anyone can help...

It does feel a bit diff to what Maiden usually do, but I think it's bloody great! I deffo gotta get this now. *Pre-orders off play.com*

I've only just got round to checking out the problem, been busy recentley.... ...and isn't it amazing how simple some things can be.... After cleaning inside a little, I switched my comp back on and looked inside through my case's plastic pannel. A fan wasn't working. So I checked the wiring after unplugging everything, and found out that the fan wasn't connected to the power supply. So after some fiddling about with wires it's working again. Temps are currentley at a nice 40c for mobo, 54c for cpu and 31c for hard drive, already a lot better than before! Thanks for the help though guys! ^^ Sorry to put you all through this bother just for a case fan. I've still gotta test it some more. If it still goes wrong after that I'll post back here again. Thanks again folks!

Well, looks like Valve revealed TF2 (that will come as HL2: Episode 2's multiplayer) a few days back. I'm aware that this has been mentioned elsewhere, but I really think this deserves it's own thread. After all, Valve were gonna be going for a more realistic style, and this is a complete turnaround. I actualy really like this style. There's so many realistic shooters out there, it's getting a tad boring seeing more and more of them released. Then Valve come out with this, something fresh and new, but something that also works with TF. I could never really take the original seriously, it already had a cartoony feel to it. This new look deffinately reflects that in a newer greater way. Opinions...?

I kinda agree with you there. Fortress Forever does look great, I just hope that TF2 doesn't steal it's glory. Heh, funnily enough, someone else said that on another forum. Although I musr say, they do look very similar in art style. As I said before, this deffinately isn't a bad thing.

I'd love to see an ED trilogy. Though it's natch that it won't see the light of day anytime soon, and obvious that we'll never see it on a Nintendo console. More sanity effects and multiple story paths would be a great idea if they do continue the series, the original got too tiresome after a run through. Having to replay exactly the same game three times just for the true ending took the piss. I dunno how they'd carry on the story, mind....

Agreed. I won't knock EA either, though after thier track record I think I'll reserve jugement before trying thier titles. That said however, I'm glad to see that developers are taking the Wii so seriously in this gen. The increase in 3rd party support is deffo going to tip the odds in Nintendo's favour.

Ick, that portable 360 looks terrible. The size of it's bad enough, but the colour scheme and design is making my eyes bleed. I'd never carry anything like that around.

Hey, ty for reminding me about this game. A friend of mine had it, was bloody brilliant. They lost it though, so haven't played it for ages. When I get the cash I'll deffo pick this up! Hmmmm, I kinda don't see it being as good. It'll be a lot harder to play like that and probably a lot more frustrating...

Interesting, can't wait to see what this might be! I really hope it's not an RE4 remake, it's just too soon to be remaking that game. I'd love to see a remake of RE2 though. It's easily the best Resi game imo, and seeing it with updated graphics, gameplay, etc would be brilliant. They remade RE1 for the Gamecube, so I don't see why they can't reamke RE2 for the Wii.

I saw this earlier too. Bloody brilliant film - lots of laughs, great action, great gci, great acting from Depp (as always) and Keira Knightley was damn' hot. The ending was quite a shocker though. I mean, I never expected THAT to happen, and then that cliff-hanger at the very very end. Roll on PotC3!! ^^
