Three months notice would suck. Sorry dude. BUT ... my ex-boss was on a three month notice period and when he handed in his notice the MD wanted him out as quick as possible so he basically had a three month paid holiday.

My Walking Dead Compendium 2 arrived last night. SO EXCITED! Though I've kinda forgot what happened in the first one except ...

I used to be quite shy and lacked confidence but then I went on an LDS church mission for two years and basically got rejected by about 50000 people. I came home and just kept asking out girls (sounds worse than it was) until I received the approval of one. Mwuhahahaha.

We're moving about a mile, so no not very far at all. The project side of a house is not something that I enjoy, but you get a nice house for cheaper in the long run! Anyways, my wife doesn't work, and the kids are both in school full time as of next September, so she'll have loads of time to do it up/make me dinner.

A couple of weeks ago we accepted an offer on our house and yesterday we had an offer accepted on a house. Now to get down to the gritty business of moving. I already know a couple of things. 1. Stamp duty is evil. 2. HSBC are evil. It will be sad to move from a house that is all nice and finished to another "project." But, yay, more rooms.

Actual Multiple Monitors lets you use snap to edge on both monitors. Or at least that's how it's working on my computer right now. It can put a start button on both monitors too, but when the pro version runs out that disappears, and then you cry because you miss it so. The taskbar on both monitors sticks around though. It's great just for that.

They (evil IT) blocked Spotify at work. Felt low this morning. Discovered Rdio (sorry @nightwolf - but please hurry up with the Spotify web interface) and feel better now.

I'm with T-Mobile. I could have got it cheaper on vodafone, but that was only 500mb data.

With all the iPhone 5 excitement I decided I needed a new phone. That's not me. She has two, but I bought just one. It's a little expensive for a not-so-current phone (£21/month and £30-ish outright for the phone) but I think it's worth it to get the newest updates rolled out so quickly.

Just do what my wife does; have no job, live a life of leisure and spend all of the money you and Jim have on unnecessary clothes. But seriously, can you survive financially if you quit? A job shouldn't make you miserable all of the time.

A couple of months ago I bought some tickets to see fun. on the 4th October at the HMVInstitute in Birmingham through HMVtickets. Now because of various things I can't go. Can I sell these on? I think I'd be able to sell them easily at work (just looking for face value) but it says this on them: It's the debit card bit that worries me. How stringently is this checked? If I give these tickets to someone else will they be screwed out of entry because they don't have my debit card with them? Not sure if it makes a difference but they are e-tickets. As in, they were sent to me in an email and I have to print them myself. Also, anyone want them? I have two tickets, and the face value is £12.50 each. I'd happily do an N-E discount.

Another day Ashley, another day. That faff seems faffy. They were only £25 for the pair, so I've offered them to a friend that lives in Birmingham. If they don't want them, anyone from N-E can have them for free.

Ridiculously precise!

I hate seeing people get old. It just reminds me that I am old. When I was in secondary school, I would watch the brand new episodes and then talk about them in registration the next day. That's so long ago. SO old. Feels awful man.

That's the start of an OC behaviour. I watched a documentary on Channel 4(?) all about OCD, with one of the team leaders from 8/10 Cats. Lots of people do the kind of thing that you were talking about - avoiding cracks in the pavement, touching the doorframe in a certain place as you walk through it, making sure a certain foot hits a certain stairstep, etc. The Obsessive Compulsive part was fine for most people but when it started impacting on their life it became a disorder, and therefore OCD. There was an NHS unit where people were treated and part of the treatment was to go to the toilet in the unit and rub your hands all over the seat, and then all over your face and clothes. It was horrid. The woman demonstrating even licked her hands. She was wrong, but I guess OCD peeps needed it. Stuff like using a baby wipe to wipe everything that had come from the supermarket, never leaving the house, having a clean room in the flat, not letting people in their house, neverending list writing. It was just scary.

I've seen that episode, and did not get a lesbian thing. Is there a suggestion that part of the episode I've seen may have been removed? 13 year old Bubblegum and Finn were blates gonna hook up so she has hetero tendencies.
