    I hate the BBC. Whenever they talk about Wii and make a positive remark they always follow it up with some snide, Sony philating, remark....

     

    e.g.

     

    'There is a disappointingly limited range of options for each sport - just one course for golf, no variation in the bowling or baseball games and only a few rounds of action in the boxing.'

     

    IT'S FREE FOR F&%KS Sake...There are better examples but Ill be damned if I look for them!

    I was ther too, it rocked! There is a picture of me on eurogamer taking a picture! The Zelda tin is nothing special...except that it is somehow affiliated with Zelda so it is special! Somehow HMV duped me into buying a memory card by telling me Nintendo took out the 512 mb in the console...to be fair by that time I was sooo tired I would have believed anything!

    I do't know if anyone saw, you probably have, but the Wii was no. 1 best item of 2006 in T3 magazine. T3 seem to really like the Wii where as Stuff always makes some sarky remark about it being for childern while they philate the PS3 while not giving a single reason, I hate Stuff...:mad:

    I'll be honest here. After one day of Wii, my right arm is in considerable pain. This is probably due to unrelated physical activity, but still, diving about the room like a mad man playing Wii tennis isn't making it any better. Yes, I said I've been diving about the room. All those who play it by sitting on the sofa flicking their wrists about are boring fuckers. FACT.

     

    FACT: It is a sin to play WiiSports sitting down!!! Do it and you will anger the GODS...and make the Mii's cry:cry:

    My 6 year old sister kicked my ass at bowling last night, she got about 140. I got 80. That was my first time playing it though, she's played it loads.

     

    Like I said before my mum absolutely destroyed me at golf:nono:

    I got her back with everything else though!!: peace:

    Bowling is excellent, and most of the other sports are quite fun. Except for Baseball.

     

    Wii Sports is indeed awesome

     

    Baseball - worse of the bunch but still really fun in two player

     

     

    OK I first though baseball was lame, cos quite frankly zzzz..., but after you get use to it and start smacking those home runs it is awesome! I actually managed to hit the ball out of the stadium, "Its outta here!!!" Batting is awesome, pitching is not as good but still cool!

    I had the wierdest dream...

     

    I was in a shiny silver passneger plane, like the ones from the 60s, and we had just taken of from this half Chinese half Japanese Madievel Castle where there was a Cherry Blossom in full bloom but everything was covered in snow. So we took off over this silver ocean with small islands dotted around and there was this huge orange sunset which reflected off the water which looked like mercury. I was sitting next to my sister, she seemed quite excited, who was next to the window. I was all quite relaxing, the plane seemed to float through the air. So we were about to fly over this oriental bridge and we were making a sweaping turn when one of the wings of the plane his the water and got ripped off. There remaining wing was burning. The plane started to shack. Everyone looked concerned but not overly so...which is obviously quite wierd in a situation like that. Then the scarieast thing happened, I became aware of my own mortality. I knew I was going to die and I felt really helpless. The plane crashed and I was thrown out of the wreckage and landed on my back. I could see the burning cabin of the plane as the sun set behind me and at that point I passed out and/or died...

    Consequently I woke up immediatly in time for Uni...

     

    Now that was wierd! This happened about a week ago! I didn't make any of that up, it was the wierdest dream I have ever had and have never experienced anything that intense in my dreams before...I wonder what it all means?!

    I think another batch came in today cos HMV called to say my Wii was ready and when they called on Friday they said they thought they would be getting them on Monday

     

    High: Going to HMV Oxford Street at 9:00 to que for 14 hours and then finding out I only had to sign my name and come back in the evening, and then being able to give my brother-in-law my other pre-=rder so his niece, who only told him the previouse night that she wanted a Wii, could get one!

     

    Low: Waiting for damn Amazon to tell me something about when my composite cables are going to be ready, (estimated shipping time 7th to arrive next day, last time I checked it was the 10th and I still have no idea when they are coming!) And waiting 1 for 1 more week of Uni to end so I can get stuck into Zelda....hopefully WITH the composite cables!!

     

    P.S. Does anyone know anything about Amazon and their Composite Cables??? Thanks

    How do I send an email to myself?

     

    I add my email address on my Wii then it says I have to register my Wii with my emaill addy? How do I do that!!

     

    Tour e-mail account should have recieved an e-mail from youe Wii all you need to do now is to reply! And your Wii will start glowing blue! Hope that helped!

    I tell you one thing. Wii has my mum's attention. I sat there playing Red Steel and she just watched me, she prefers watching me play Red Steel to Zelda. She thinks Red Steel is like a movie and Zelda is too fairyish.

     

    My Dad wants to play shooting on Wii Play, and I know my family will be busting out Wii Sports on New Years Eve.

     

    Ill tell you which is an awesome mini game, the weird neon paddle/air hocky game on Wii Play. After 2 goes I was addicted!

    Upper right arm soar..but in a good way, it doesn't feel like I've been playing video games for three hours! Boxing is the most tiring and my favourite! I open a can of woop ass and then do my Terry Tate impression! "Whooo, That was Sharonda's cake!" I love Terry Tate!

    I'm with rokhed on this one, feels a hell of a lot like goldeneye, especially in mulitplayer...some mechanics feel like halo. After a half hour of multiplayer gaming, I was blazing though the game, not even thinking about the controls, very intuitive, the only bone I have to pick with this is that the fact that the method for zooming in is crap.

     

    Bingo! Zooming is a pain in the butt! Plus I hope there is a cheat to use your sword, and gun together, outside battles! That would rock!
