  1. Boat has docked in town, so can go to the island tonight, from 7:00pm if anyone would like to come.
  2. 3DS eShop Thread

Super Litte Acorns is well worth downloading at that price - didn't expect a discount so soon!
  3. NES - Super Mario Bros SNES - Super Mario All Stars Nintendo 64 - Mario Kart 64 Gamecube - Wave Race: Blue Storm Wii - Wii Sports Xbox 360 - Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Wii U - Nintendo Land Game Boy - Tetris Game Boy Color - Wario Land II Game Boy Advance - Rayman Advance Nintendo DS - Wario Ware: Touched Nintendo 3DS - Super Monkey Ball 3D
  4. Injustice: Gods Among Us

£22.99 at GAME online Nice to see it discounted at the same time as the PS360 versions.
  5. Shame about the Mario Golf delay. I was wondering why it had not been mentioned anywhere over the last 24 hours. Hopefully there will be another couple of games from Nintendo for the 3DS this Christmas. Hoping Layton 6 won't get delayed, and maybe we'll see a couple of small surprises in the next Nintendo Direct.
  6. Castlevania: Mirror of Fate

Got this last week, as I wanted one more Club Nintendo leaflet to get another digital game to sell on! Never played a game in the series before, unless I dabbled with one on the NES as a kid, but I found this enjoyable enough. At first, I wasn't too keen, got bored after 20 mins, but when I resumed the game the next day, I really got into it. Didn't care much for the story, but the gameplay and combat was good fun, but it would of been nice if there were more puzzles in the game. Finished it in around 8 hours and a 75% completion rating.
  7. Add me if you haven't got me. 1504-5680-5028
  8. Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze

Extended trailer :- Developer Direct :- Direct confirms there's a secret third Kong in the game! Funky? Kiddy Kong?
  9. Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze

Nice to see that swimming/underwater levels are back. The end of the year is looking like a good time for platform fans with this, Rayman and Mario! Not too sure on the title - makes it sound like the game will only contain Jungle and Snow themed stages?
  10. Well I loved the Donkey Kong Country Returns 2 trailer and the CG Mario Kart 8 trailer, but everything else was underwhelming, especially the new Mario (which I'm sure will be great) but looks like New Super Mario Bros 3D and the Wind Waker, which didn't look that different to the Gamecube version IMO. Nothing new or unannounced in the third party sizzle reel either ...
  11. 3DS eShop Thread

Sigh ... where's the GB/GBC love? I wonder if they could be keeping them back to do a Game Boy Summer event on the eShop? Think they did something like that in America last year.
  12. New 3DS Deal - Register 3 games, get one new game!

Just sold my FEA code for £23.49. Saw one go for around £28 last week though but anything above £20 is good enough for me.
  13. Superman: Man of Steel (June 2013)

My local cinema always does this. They offer advance bookings for just the 3D showings, but on every occasion they add 2D and a few more 3D showings on the Monday or Tuesday before the film in question is released. Pretty sure it's just a scheme to get fans to book the more expensive seats in a panic.
  14. Donkey Kong Country Returns... Returns!

Wait till you play some of the 'Orb' levels, if you decide to collect all the KONG letters. One of them took me a lot longer than 40 mins to complete!! Anywhoo, played through the 3DS exclusive world last night. Really enjoyable stuff, and a few new elements in some of them. If Retro can't work on a sequel, I'm sure Monster can!
  15. 3DS StreetPass Plaza

Looks like the nice weather is bringing more gamers outside in North Wales! A new personal best for me in the area. Six of them had pink puzzle pieces for me too! Awesome!
  16. Nintendo Direct 11th June

Another brilliant gif courtesy of Gaf :-
  17. 3DS Console Discussion

Everything I saw before lostmario suggested that wallet was big and bulky too. It doesn't make it that much bigger - think of it as a nice looking Filofax
  18. 3DS Console Discussion

I upgraded to an XL last month, and regret not doing it earlier. Love it. Much better than I expected. It's more comfortable than the original model, it's not at all heavy and the screen makes the games look much better IMO. I was a bit worried about carrying it around too, but I got this wallet for it, and it's fits perfectly in my coat pocket or satchel. Only thing now is that if I'm playing on the bus, people are more likely to be able to see what I'm playing - roll on Animal Crossing and Pokemon X!
  19. Sniper Elite V2

I paid around £18 for it at WOW HD UK, but it's gone up a bit there now to £21.59 As I said on Miiverse, the sniping is good mindless fun, but you're right about the other guns, they don't control that well at times, but if you try and be as stealthy as possible in missions, you can avoid using them. It's ridiculous that the online and mulitplayer features have been excluded, and the game plays and feels more like an early PS360 than a 2012/13 title, but if you enjoy a WW2 setting, sniping and just want a cheap thrill for a weekend you could do a lot worse.
  20. The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages/Seasons

Well once I've finished Ages and Seasons, I'll be giving Awakening another go : peace:
  21. The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages/Seasons

Finished the second dungeon in 'Ages' earlier. Enjoying it a lot more than Link's Awakening, which I always end up getting bored with, and therefore have never completed.
  22. Donkey Kong Country Returns... Returns!

Not had any problems with the zoomed out camera on my 3DS XL, but when I played through Rayman Origins on the original 3DS, which was a similar port to this, I do remember it being a bit of a nuisance. Got a nice surprise earlier, when I collected all the KONG letters in World 1 and 2
  23. Rhythm Thief & the Emperor’s Treasure

I was somewhat disappointed with the game too, but enjoyed it a lot more when I had all 50 rhythm games unlocked at the end, and could replay them and beat high scores at my leisure.
