    Hoookay...moving on....

     

    Did anyone else thing that the Corruption model of Samus didn't look quite as good as in Metroid Prime? I mean, the surroundings and everything else looks much better (in fact, im starting to think Wii has the upper hand in terms of lighting capabilities...) but I don't think samus herself looks quite as good...

     

    Yea ur right she didnt look as awesome as she did in prime (with the massive shoulder pads). They will probably make the game look better when it is release. I thought samus looked best in her "light suit" in prime 2. Very sexc.

    Teach me!, I always paly as Liink but im getting the impression most people think he's 'noobish', i use loads of dodging and grabs but dont know how to improve my game. Teach me!

     

    I'm the best by miles out of my mates that own it, probably because i've never played anyone with actual talen at it.

     

    Hey ur probably as good as you need to be for fighting ur mates (no offence to ur m8s :D). There was a time when rolling and grabbing and smashing was good but there is a lot more to it.

     

    Take a guy like marth. His air attacks r amazing but have you ever used them frequently in a fight? Tap Y lightly to do a "short hop" followed by his neutral A air attack. You will find it very useful against many foes who will try to run at you because it has a great range. I can go into more detail but u rele just need to experiment with different characters and their different moves (tilts for instance can be very useful).

     

    And goron 3 it was 1-1 the last one was abandoned.

    If you have people of similar skill to play against, multiplayer games become really enjoyable as you dont know who's gonna win. If its one sided then its not enjoyable for the person on the losing end and it becomes boring for the person who keeps winning. I'm lucky to have brothers and friends who play smash and are of similar ability as it keeps each game varied and exciting.

     

    Although I start to think that goron3 is getting sick of me beating him all the time:D

    my brother broke a controller...

    that was from me flogging him in melee.

     

    maybe if you have that many broken controls you have anger problem or just bad at games??? *grins*

     

    Hey dont look at me. I keep beating my brother and he chucks the controller at the wall (the controller has a bit of green paint on the side where it got slammed against the wall). But you are right though... my brother does have an anger problem.

    I got a top tip in NGC march 2004 edition and it came number 1 (it was about powerslide boosting to dodge red shells in mario kart dd). They never gave me that free game... i was super pissed and wrote in... but nothing. :@

    Also, In my opinion, Sega seriously messed up the music for GX, Techno?? WTF? I somehow doubt F-Zero's key demographic is chavs. F-Zero had such cool 80's power metal style guitar riffs and solos, with some awesome drumming to go behind it, but they've just turned Mute City into crap...Fire Field still has a pretty cool guitar track, but nothing really competes with F-Zero X's Mute City...man it's so awesome...

     

    Lol i love the f-zero music. You are right though... the techno stuff is shit, but fire field and lightening are awesome... and so is the unlockable old skool big blue theme! Although i dont rele think chavs are into the techno... they seem more into urban shizzle... encourages their knife crimes

    I don't like having the Mic in the controller, that means you wont be able to play 2 players online from the same Wii if you both want to talk, if its inthe controller it'll pick up a wide range of sound... from both players. Headsets all the way.

     

    I dont really think it will be that much of a problem because, if you think about it, how many games actually let you play 2 player online from the same console? And the controllers going to be really close to ur body anyway so even if it does pick up other sounds it will be dominated by the sound of your own voice.

    I got it the day it came out, but im having trouble with it...I use pico who is pretty much a newbie character, and hes a bit slow, does anyone have any reccomendations for who else to use?? I think I'll complete it over the summer holidays...

     

    Use deep claw (octoman). I usually set the ratio to 100%max speed. Hes not the fastest but his boost is good and he has exceptional turning. I can beat the field by simply taking the best line.

    Imagine this. Pokemon as an MMORPG. You start off by designing ur guy in as many ways as possible, pick your server and go.

     

    All 400ish pokemon and all the regions: kanto, johto, hoenn, orange isles and that place from collesseum (i never got colleseum) in one game (not the usual money grubbing doube package).

     

    I'm not going to go any further in what i would consider gaming nirvana. Please use this thread to discuss what you would like to see or happen in a pokemon mmo or whether you would like pokemon to become an mmo.

     

    PS MMORPG for anyone who doesnt know stands for massively multiplayer online rpg. Think world of warcraft.

    Didn't they already try this with the 3DO. I know EA weren't 100% involved with it , but I am pretty sure that they had a large stake-holding/or were very involved in the wholw concept.

     

    No i think the 3DO was made by panasonic.

     

    I love the idea of a new console a year. They would each be called: EA 2008, EA 2009, EA 2010 etc

    Whatever makes Super Smash Bros. better is the right thing to do.

     

    And i think by including thrid party Smash Bros. will get better in my opinion.

     

    If you think for a moment Nintendo have already used their main characters in Smash Bros. I believe they shouldn't include any more pokemon or secondary characters because they are not iconic enough and a lot of people will not care about them. Smash Bros. in my opinion is all about the gaming characters we know, beating the crap out of each other. By including third party characters that are recogniseable and have depth as fighters i seriously believe Brawl will be the best one yet (if you do not think about online play in the game).

     

    If the games developers were to include Waluigi do you really think his fighting abilities would differ from Mario, Luigi or even Wario? Maybe Waluigi could be included as an extra unlockable skin for Wario but really by just expanding the amount of characters from different gaming series would probably get tedious sequel after sequel.

     

    Take a character like Cloud (although some of you seem to be keen to not have him in the game) he would most likely make a good fighter because he has a completely different fighting structure to anyone else in smash bros at the moment. With Cloud developers could combine sword combat and magic casting into one character and i'm sure that would be highly popular like other sword-weilding characters in smash bros are at the moment.

     

    I know some are not going to agree with me and are most likely going to search for flaws in my argument and use them against me but think about it, what would you rather have, the same game you know and love or a daring sequel that might just improve on everything the series has to offer.

     

    Nintendo are saying change is good at the moment, and i definately agree that with Nintendo's abiltiy to change things for the better, Smash Bros. could definately benifit from this.

     

    So i say, bring on the third party characters that everyone knows and loves.

    (Sorry for the long read).

     

    Totally agree, i mean smash is supposed to be an "allstar brawl". I dont really consider waluigi as a star character.
