I am thinking about Resident Evil, it looks like a good price? Is it better than ZombieU?

Is any of the other games on sale worth buying?

    PS

Do they give sales every week?

  2. I had 1,99€ on my eshop account, wanted to test it and I gave for one minut the pad to my 2 year old daughter and switched on the panorama view so she can watch it. During that time she managed to buy Panorama View Carneval for 1,99 euros..... Bloody hell, that's almost half the price for Steamworld.

  3. Thx everyone. As I said, I wanted ZombieU, as I have 2 2d platform games. I would go for MHT, but it's to expensive, so that's kind of game I would like to get - 3D action game.

But if I can't find something in that ptice range, I will probably go for some of the games mentioned here - Steamworld is a strong favourite.

  4. It's a fantastic little game that's worth three times that much. Come on, you really can't go wrong over 3 quid anyway!

Yeah, I am saving money to pay the money back to the friend who sent me the Wii U and have some 20 euros which I can spend for games, that's why I am a bit more careful with games I am going to get :).

  5. Actually, if it's a good game, I am probably gonna like it :).

I am trying to avoid 2d platform games as I do have two (OK, I am thinking about Steamworld as it is on sale and looks interesting), so something different (wanted to get ZombieU, but after finding out that it can be bought for half the price on eshop I am looking for alternatives).

Usually, I am open for everything, but would like it to be a proper Wii U game.

    PS

Is it possible to buy games on eshop, but for someone else (like on steam, where you can make a gift)?

  6. I know I am new here, but if the prices on eshop are RRP, than @dazzybee is right, the prices listed there are much higher. Only Captain Toad is 39,99 euros, Rayman 29,99 and some few other games, but the "top" games are 49,99, or 59,99 euros. I know you are talking sterling, but when I have followed earlier the prices (before I've got the Wii U) I didn't see that they would correct them according to currency rates.

Splatoon on amazon is 39,99 euros, I am not sure about the eshop price as it is no listed and I know there are much lower prices in some shops.

  7. I am just sad that the free game info was false, now I am not going to buy Splatoon for quite some time. I have only Mario and Luigi games (as it came in the bundle) and can't really afford to spend 40 euros on a game right now, but for two games I would have managed to do something about it. Now I have to wait for some other games to go on sale on e-shop (like ZombieU, or Captain Toad as the RRP aren't that high, so a sale could tempt me to buy it, especially ZombieU).

  8. I saw a rumour somewhere, can't remember which website, saying there's a big patch due over the Summer which will add the competitive online modes to the game then and possibly add voice chat amongst friends too. The online mode(s) for the first few months is going to be very basic.

Hope this is not true

OK, that is not a huge problem for me if the patch arrives inside 2 months or so, especially if that means that the online modes will be better.
