I can't see this being bad, it will just make the game a lot better. Besides, there's plenty of games available at launch to whet our appetites. I'm hoping for Online, fingers corssed.

Ok, I'm usually cynical about speculation like this, but what they heck. It's only 3 hours until the Japanese event, and there's no harm done making a guess, so here's mine. North America: Nov 3rd $200 Japan: Nov 10th 22,000 Yen Europe: Nov 17th £140 / 200 Euros All regions will launch with both black an white colours in equal amounts, and the pack will include 2 Wiimotes, 2 nunchucks, and WiiSports. Games will be the same price as last gen games, but none of the launch titles will feature online multi-play. Simpler games (e.g. Wii Music?) will cost as little as half normal game price. The Virtual Console will obviously be available from day one, and each Wii will come with a free game download. Additional Downloads will range between £2 and £5. The Classic Controller Will be sold seperately (I wish it was bundled, but I just cant see that happening) for a price of £20/$30. Nintendo won't supply any other controllers from day one, but I can imagine they (light gun) will be released at a later date. Official SD Cards will come in 2 sizes, 512Meg, and 1 Gig, with larger sizes following over the next 6 months. Finally, there will be between 27 launch titles.

I hope that WiiSports has some more games added. Maybe something like, archery or javeline.

...Isn't it great how it's become cool to bash Sony? I mean, Sony bashing was almost pointless for the last decade, but now we have just cause. I just had to ask this, as I love Sony bashing. All the Wii advertisements in GAME are in the DS section, and with the DS being the hottest console on the market, it's right at the front of the shop. I'm glad to see they've finally given the DS it's rightful position. What's funny though is the fact that the PS2 has moved to the back, and that's where all the PS3 ads are. So people are seeing Wii first which is good.

You're an idiot. WiiSports is supposed to be stupidly simple, that's the whole point. It's designed for non-gamers, and as a basic showcase of how the controller works. It's not about precision, or skill, it's about fun multi-player. As far as the types of games are concerned, I reckon that the final game will have quite a large selection of sports. Maybe they'll add games such as archery.

I don't think the top screen is a screen, I think it's just a display which tells you the game you're playing. You know, like the ones on current demo booths with the game sleeve in them?

The problem I've always found with online multi-player games that require teamwork is that no-one other than me ever wants to use teamwork, they just want to freeroam and get as many frags as possible.

I'm not going to write an essay, but I just realised today that I've completely forgotten that Wii used to be called Revolution. Well obviously not because I'm talking about it now. But my point is, I thought I'd never get used to Wii, and Revolution would stick, but now it's the opposite case. Wii is Wii, not Revolution. It couldn't be called Revolution anymore, as now it's been Wii for 5 months and I'm used to it, and I no longer consider it as the console that used to be called Revolution. Not the most amazing thing ever, but I've only just realised that today, lol.

How is it that there doesn't exist a single decent-looking mock up of a game device? Can anyone remember how bad some of the mock-ups for the Wii controller were? I know that they're all amatuer, but I could 1-up any of those designs. And I'm not a skilled product designer either.

Why have demo discs when you can just download the demo using wi-fi?

They'll all know what it's called soon enough. Wii adverts and pre-order posters are popping up all over the place. I don't think joe public will have too much of a problem with it once they've heard it enough. I reckon they'll be less fussed about the name than we were. Afterall, we all lived with Revolution for a year or so, they never even experienced Revolution. All they'll get is Wii, and they'll say, "sounds like something the Japanese would come up with" and might think it a bit odd at first, but soon they'll accept it too.

Microsoft made the whole Wii60 statement because they need Nintendo alot more than Nintendo needs them. Without Nintendo, MS and Sony probably wouldn't even be in this race. Nintendo have shown they don't need anyone else to make it in this industry. Without innovators like Nintendo, where would Microsoft and Sony steal ideas from?

I have the same view. If I want a graphical upgrade, I'll just get a new graphics card for my PC. Much cheaper than $600.

OH MY GOD! Some of you are utterly stupid. Yeh, you may not particularly like the girls yourself, but the aim of the advert is not to decide that. The point of the advert is that PS3 is a fat woman who's too expensive and has lots of qualities, and the Wii is a skinny, more attractive to the majority of men, girl who just wants to have fun. Meet them both in a bar, and which would you choose? Most guys would choose the latter. It's not aimed at individual peoplem it's aimed at all men as a whole. DUH!

Personally, I thought the storyline in the original metroid prime was shit. It was almost non-existent. The game focused too much on just walking back and forth and getting powerups. Seriously, that's all the objective of the game was. collecting all the power-ups. Personally, I prefer to have a bit more depth in a story. Sure there was a storyline, but it was pretty weak if you ask me, and it didn't feel like Samus' true mission. I mean, you go and get a power-up, and then you wonder round 4 a short while, and then u get a location on the map. And it was yet another power-up. Prime 2 did have a far superior storyline, but again, the exploration thing ruins it for me.

Name a Nintendo system that had serious bugs, and then you'll understand.

Anyone with a Wavebird should understand that AA batteries r all you'll need. This thing isn't going to be like a mobile phone and require charging ever night. It's going to use AAs and last for weeks, so what's thew point of it being rechargable when you'll only need to recharge it once a month?
