  1. Yeah, it was easy

Got kicked out of the game afterwards, though, and then my mate was ready to continue the story with me. Sorry I was gone so quickly.

No problem brah, was the last mission I planned on doing, I did a small patrol on the moon after and then called it a night.

Like others are saying we'll have to sort out some clan strikes, pvp, etc. Dem clan strike and raid trophies!

  2. It's good to have Destiny back, at one point all my online friends were playing Destiny, good times!

I played up to where the Beta ended and left it there for the night, briefly joining @drahkon on the first moon mission which we powered through no problem, team Titan!

Looking forward to playing the new moon content tonight, it sounds great. If anyone wants to Co op through the moon tonight feel free to join my fire team. :)

  3. Destiny is getting a custom audio mode for the wireless headset. :D

We have an exclusive Destiny audio mode that will be available via the free Headset Companion App for PS4 and PS3 starting tomorrow. Enjoy the sounds of the Destiny universe the way Bungie intended with this custom-tuned audio mode for the Gold Wireless Stereo Headset.

  4. Don't really have a problem with the delay. There's more than enough to play in the first half of 2015. Witcher 3, The Order, Bloodborne, MKX, etc.

True dat, next February is already looking busy, giving this more time and space won't do it any harm.

    The other collectors edition.

  6. I do have a question for those that played the beta: I don't yet have a headset for my PS4 and probably won't be able to pick one up till next month so how vital, if at all, is having one for playing? Like I know it would be a necessity for raids and stuff but for the Strike missions and what not could I get by without? I do have the hands-free headset for my phone if it was necessary so would that work with the PS4?

The headset you get free with the PS4 will probably get you by for a little while, I used it during the Beta and it worked fine. When you upgrade I recommend the Playstation wireless headset, a few of us on here have them now and they're excellent.

  7. I remember first using mine as I just started playing AC4. The sound of the waves, Edward's feet on wood surfaces, the wildlife and the shanties...god damn. That headset made the game so much more.

Was going to play some AC4 later today, will definitely be using the headset now!

  8. So this new fangled headset that all the cool kids seem to be buying these days...

    ...is it really worth it?

Consider that I already have a decent surround setup, I'll still be able to find lots of uses for it presumably? I can see it being useful for night time at least.

What about when you use it to chat online as well, does the voice come through one ear or both? Or can you choose...

Yeah, what @Sheikah said, I've only had mine a few days and I love them already, great headset. It also has a companion app where you can upload dedicated sound modes for certain games or types to the headset.

  9. HNNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGG. That headset.

For that price point it's really amazing. Just played Hotline Miami and it was sooooo intense

So glad I got a new one now. :)

Was testing mine out last night, really pleased with it. Like you said, Hotline Miami sounds great, as did Hohokum.

The custom mode for The Last of Us is amazing, really adds another layer of immersion to it, I hope Destiny gets a custom mode of its own.

  10. Nice redesigns but I probably won't be investing, my XL hasn't had a great deal of use this year so can't really warrant upgrading for a third time. As for Xenoblade, I think I would of preferred a HD remaster for WiiU with improved graphics, frame rate, character models etc rather than see it compressed down on to a handheld, I'm sure it will appeal to some though.

  11. Don't Starve: Giants Edition coming to Vita on 3rd September. Cross Buy, another free game! :)

Hey everyone! Jamie Cheng here, founder of Klei Entertainment. I’m happy to announce a few cool things: first is that Don’t Starve: Giant Edition for PS Vita is now in certification, and will be launching on 3rd September 2014!

Here are some key details you’ll want to know:

The Giant Edition costs €13.99, and includes the Reign of Giants expansion. It includes new characters, seasons, biomes, and other challenges that will happily kill you.

Unfortunately, in order for us to get the game on Vita, we had to rewrite a bunch of backend code to optimise it. Because of this, the save games are not compatible with the PS4, so there is no Cross-Play.

BUT! We love you all, so we’re making the game Cross-Buy! If you own Don’t Starve on PS4, you get the PS Vita version for free, and vice versa. Thank you for supporting our game, and please spread the word so we can keep making more interesting games!

  12. I was looking at the upcoming releases for Wii U and it dawned on me that my biggest grievance is the duplicity.

I'm not that bothered that as a Wii U owner there won't be a 3rd iteration of Assassins Creed or Call of Duty within the first 2 years of the console. I'm not even that bothered that we probably won't get another FIFA. I grew up in a era where predominantly you got 1 game per console and because of this they were great games.

Big Wii U games are few and far between and it's bloody frustrating that we keep getting the same genre.

Bayonetta and Hyrule both launch within a month of each other and they're both hack and slash games, we got Mario 3D followed shortly by Donkey Kong. We've got Lego City and Lego Movie, Mario Kart and Sonic Racing, Tekken and Injustice. If they had focused on making sure we had a good mix of games instead of duplicating genres we would be pretty well catered for, but as it stands I'm crying out for an F1 and a Golf game and all of I've got to look forward to are two slash em up's which don't interest in the slightest.

This has been my grievance as well and the end of year releases are not my sort of games either as I rarely play hack and slash or fighting games, although I'm still looking forward to Shovel Knight when it releases.

Saying all that, 2015 is looking loads better with plenty of variety as long as they schedule them well and nothing gets delayed.

  13. Believe it or not, but I actually figured to keep my scores low so you could beat them

Now that you've got the trophy I may try to beat yours to get the trophies myself : peace:

if I can get away from Diablo...which I don't see happening anytime soon

Have left a low score on the weekly extreme challenge, if you beat it 30 times the trophies are yours! :D

    Everyone's playing Diablo..must...resist.

  14. Picked up the challenge trophies on this morning thanks to @drahkon giving me some scores to beat :p and now I'm only a couple of trophies away from the platinum so I'll probably go for it, but man are they going to be a grind, a million lums and the last level of awesomeness to go.

  15. It's 85€ on Amazon.de too, but from a third party seller. I'm reluctant to get one because if it breaks again, getting a refund might be a bit more difficult than when buying directly from Amazon.

I think I might just wait. Destiny is still two weeks away.

Yeah, I managed to get mine directly from Amazon, a third party seller was slightly cheaper at the time but I went with the security of Amazon direct. The prices on these on the UK site have been jumping around all weekend (back at £63 at the mo) might be worth keeping an eye on them on Amazon.de.
