  1. We had it and then... we lost it. I actually suspect a really long term marketing ploy exists where you stop producing something in one country for 10 years then relaunch it with an extra 20p on the price (on top of inflation) and sell a shit load to people who've convinced themselves they miss it.

Something like that really wouldn't surprise me for PepsiCo. It is PepsiCo that make it right?

I suppose its a lot like 7Up/Sprite so people think why bother ::shrug: maybe?

I agree it's very similar but is something extra in it, I'm not sure what. I imagine something starting with E followed by many numbers.

  2. Right that's my day done. Been a long one and I've got to get up early again tomorrow to continue work. Urgh. I hope something interesting happens on n-europe while I'm asleep, I quite like waking up to read about every bodies shenanigans.

  3. Fresh: What's so special about Karim Benzema? I heard Man Utd wanted him but as far as I know he hasn't done much at Real Madrid... :wtf:

[Off-Topic] Well I really liked him when he was at Lyon, in a league where a significant number of goals are hard to come by he was regularly top scorer. He is a good finisher, and being quite built he is hard to push off the ball. Got some pace and a few tricks, I'm sure he will show is potential in a few years. Plus, I like his hair :)

    ^^ Don't rate me, Rate Roostophe. ^^

  4. Avatar 8/10 - I prefer this one, and if you did the cutting yourself then you've done a very nice job.

Sig 4/10 - Sorry, it's certainly original but in the end it is just a few tech brushes on a plain canvas. If you used one of your, quite fantastic, photos as a sig and then maybe layered a deviantART, RedBubble and Facebook link over the top I could see that being a 9-10/10.

In other news I've made myself a new sig. I liked my old Pokemon one, it was cute, however I felt Karim needed some love. Looking at it now I notice the text in it is difficult to make out. Oh well.

  5. Guess I'll continue to observe the political debate unfold in the Election thread and eventually watch the new Glee episode as, despite my pathetic love for the series, I've yet to see it. So happy it came back and is getting a full second season. Lea Michele is a goddess. I need a plan to put my children in her.

I just watched the new episode, not sure what i thought of it. It seemed a little tired despite it being a reasonably new show. It seems like the same story lines, just with different songs. Someone trying to break up Glee Club and a romance involving Rachel, again.

  6. Thanks for your words of wisdom also. I'm glad ye took the time to reply:bouncy:

    Your very welcome solider!

I've also heard though that Australia isn't the best place for gay people. Surely Canada would be much better? Anyway good luck to wherever you go

I don't know who you have been talking to but Australia is one of the most gay-friendly communities. Sydney is often known as the gay capital of the southern hemisphere. Oxford Street is the vibrant center of the city and rainbow flags line the street. As someone who lives here take it from me, San Francisco aside, I think Sydney might be the best place in the world to be gay in.

I also agree that being gay has many advantages like you mentioned however secret crushes on straight people is not one of them:hmm:

Ahh, we've all been there. Unfortunately I found the easiest way to deal with this is total separation. There is nothing you can do about it.

    Just a quick note:

The Ten Best Places In The World To Be Gay In - Guess who's number 2! : peace:

The Five most improved places for gay tolerance

The Five least gay tolerant places

  7. I agree with you about Ribery. I thought he had more class than that.

Ribery? Class?! The man has none at all, he showed this again during the game. Look at the way he's been trying to construct a transfer for himself, baiting the press. He's been very disrespectful towards his team and supporters.

  8. Can I just say that being a gay teenager has many disadvantages :/

Although, I do feel lucky and a little special to be a gay teenager but due to the fact of living in a small village with little or no other gay people it is difficult watching all my peers going out to night-clubs and having romantic and probably sexual relationships while I stay at home most days and essentially become a recluse from society.

Boo hoo! I need to work on my social skills :S

I know how you feel, I too grew up in a town that had little or no other gay people in it. I was once having my hair cut in just a local salon by (what I believe to be) the only other gay guy near me and a good friend and I overheard a old women walk in and say to the women behind the desk; "Ohhh, I'd rather not have the gay one do it," I assume the question was something to with who cuts her hair, "I don't know where he's been". Then she tried to laugh. I know my friend heard it as well but he did not say anything, he's quite the professional. I would have loved to say something though, I didn't. Alas.

Anyway it is no surprise that the gay communities collect in the large cities, while I'm not "scene" at all I do like the comfort of knowing there are like minded people on my door step and this is partly the reason why I hope to live in Sydney (Or Melbourne, maybe) for many years to come once I've finished my degree. Everyone is just so accepting.

Also, don't forget, being gay has some advantages. No surprise pregnancy's and fantastic hair!

  9. They've built a new Aldi at Top Ryde in that new shopping centre I think, I will have to go there since the one in Chatswood is a bit too far. Where about in Syd are you Arnold? I've been try to find some nice areas to possibly move to, I'm on the North Shore at the moment.

  10. Wish 120 lasted us 2 bloody weeks, 250 doesn't even last 2 days here, though gf, her 2 kids and me, doesn't help much >>

Owch, I couldn't imagine needing to provide for that many people at the moment.

Holy crap how expensive is the food your buying? I can last off a £10 worth of food for a week!

It's no secret that food in Australia is more expensive than food in the UK, meals in restaurants are about the same but supermarkets are a bit more pricey. Also, if you can someone how provide 3 ample meals for 7 days on just a tenner then you should write a book or something b'cos I'm not going to believe that til I see it.

  11. I thought you were back in England permanently? You're so difficult to keep track of!

Hehe, sorry Ashboo. I should of told you. Back in Sydney now. Hence why most of my posts on here (the very few of them most of which aren't even on public forums) come in the middle of the night.
