As brilliant as he may be I believe that in this case, and a few more in fact, he's not handled himself well. It was too much of his 'THEM' and 'US' attitude the people seem to have the problem with. Anyway this isn't a matter of race, at all. These 'riots' (I'm getting sick of calling them riots, Egypt was a riot, stonewall was a riot, this was looting) are about so much more than the color of someones skin. It seems agreement seems to be with the unearned entitlement attitude many of these thugs have.

Question I'd like to propose to Arsenal fans (I've not managed to talk to any informed ones this summer) is if a £40M bid came in for fabregas what do you think Wenger should do? Well he's won the 2007 European U17 Championship, the 2011 European U21 Championship (and was the in the UEFA European U21 Championship Team of the Tournament), the UEFA Europa League and the UEFA Super Cup. So essentially he's done a lot, for a 20 year old. Someone phoned up 606 claiming that he was a waste of money and inexperienced. It really was quite cruel how they proved him wrong live on air. Oh dear, probably the same guy who phoned them up once saying Arsenal should sell Fabregas and buy Modric because he's better on Football manager... Again they just laughed at him. I think a few people do care about the community shield, I'm sure for those young players it was a very important game for them. Plus it was against City who had much more to gain from a victory so that always adds extra spice.

Fantastic performance today, the youngsters did really well and some of their passing was outstanding; in particular Cleverly, Welbeck and Nani. Rooney was his usual self and into the second half dropping deeper became much more effective, good game from him. It's a bit of a shame to see De Gea getting such treatment. Been listening to 606 and people already writing him off. As usual it's the people who don't know about him or what he's done. It was his first "competitive" united game, at Wembley, against city. It was never going to be easy and he will take time to adapt, Reina took a while when he first came, it's not easy to come from La Liga to the Premier League. Normally I would pass these things of as fiction and there are plenty of explanations around when people want to explain them however that BBC report is quite interesting. Considering it's a reporter who saw it and seems to go into much detail about it. Most interestingly was the little quote at the end mentioned "we now have the technology to go to the stars', which was actually wrong it was 'we now have the technology to take ET home'. A lot of the claims regarding UFO technology seem to come from the idea that at some point, most suggest in the 1960's, some anti gravity technology was found. If you google the line 'we now have the technology to take ET home' you can find loads on this kind of thing.

He's quite decent, certainly not worth €80m but €15-18m wouldn't be far off.
