  1. I know the feeling, I've gone through it many times before... Attraction can truly be a double-edged blade, since on one hand if things comes off, you can find yourself in a happy relationship... On the other hand, if everything goes to pot, then it can end up ruining a friendship or even more... I've had the latter happen to me too many times... But hey, it's all experience in life, isn't it?...

Man, life can be crap sometimes u___u

(Although what I said insinuates that I'm currently single, I'm not... I'm mainly talking about past experiences)

Me and Colin Arthur, one of the main people involved in the creation of the special effects for "The NeverEnding Story"

(Naff photo of me though, I look about 3 years younger than what I actually was on there, and my hair is crap too xDD)

  3. I recommend Avast. I used to use AVG Free Edition, but it ended up becoming a very bloated piece of software, not to mention that it would hog the system's resources. For the last 2 years, I've been using Avast, which I feel is greatly superior. It updates more often, it uses considerably less system resources than AVG, even during scans, and it's generally better at picking up viruses.

  4. I live in the countryside, so no neighbours to worry about. Also, the problem has now changed. I can now connect to the internet, however, access to the internet is often lost, and automatically recovered after from around 20 seconds to 3 minutes (have in mind it remains connected to the router during this time, and doesn't specify any errors).

Edit: I just tried the Inssider tool, and it didn't detect any interference (only my wireless router)

  5. I'm having quite a strange issue with my wifi connection. Whenever I try to connect to my wireless router, the connection keeps dropping (and during the few seconds it is connected, it says that there's a problem in the IP configuration, and it also sometimes gives me IP conflict issues, even when it's the only computer connected on the network).

The strange thing is that the computer plugged in directly to the router via a ethernet cable works perfectly, and I've gone over all the settings in the router, and everything is fine (Note: this problem only started about an hour and a half ago, this morning, the connection was working fine).

I've tried unplugging the router, the modem, both at the same time, trying hard rebooting the router, tried restarting my computer, and absolutly NOTHING works. Does anyone know what could be wrong?

  6. I come out of Yoshi's ass? WTF?

Anyway, hoping to get this super-sweet awesomeness when I receive my shiny new Black Wii (due to my current wii screwing me over - DVD malfunction) and I honestly can't wait to play it!

    NO SPOILERS PLEASE!

  7. Just finished the first chapter, and I definitely enjoyed it. It's pretty decent for a freebee, and can easily be completed in one sitting (not necessarily a bad thing, especially for something like this). Graphics were somewhat average, but I didn't really expect exceptionally high quality ones, due to it's size and the fact that it's free.

Also, it ran incredibly smooth on my system, although that's no surprise, to be perfectly honest (Intel i7 @ 2,66GHz, 6GB of DDR3 RAM, ATi Radeon 5770 with 1GB of GDDR5 RAM, etc).

On the whole, I would say that it's definitely worth playing, especially for Doctor Who fans (logically).

  8. Downloaded it, but it crashes when I start the actual level
If you're running Windows 7 or Windows Vista, trying running it as administrator and/or under Windows XP SP3 compatibility mode.

  9. It could be that the GPU has fried. Graphical artifacts are usually a symptom of this happening. Try what Raining_Again suggested, and if that doesn't help, all I can suggest is that you either try and get a replacement if the guarantee is still active, or that you get a new graphics card.
