    I think all these remakes are racist. Nuff said really.... The Ring, Grudge and Battle Royale should all stay as Japanese films. Americans/Europeans dont want to see Asian films because they dont want to see Asians performing in them. If that's not racist, then I dont know what is.

     

    BTW, anybody seen the south korean war film called brotherhood? Best film ever made!

     

    Well that's just stupid. It's not got anything to do with racism that people don't want to watch the original.

     

    For one it's a cult classic which mean it has a cult following. Not a large amount of westerners have seen it, through the simple fact it's not been very well publicised.

     

    I was talking to an American the other day and said I hope to God they don't remake it, unfortunately I didn't touch wood.

     

    It'll be shit plain and simple, simply because very few American writers/directors have the balls to do anything extreme or different.

    I had sex at 14, knew what i was doing, enjoyed myself. No problem. Some people are ready at 14 some aren't ready until they're much older. I can't believe the amount of 21 year old virigins there are on here.

    If I was drunk I probably would. Sex isn't as sacred as you think.

     

    If you make losing your viginity as "special" as possible, then when you break up with that person it'll make it that much harder. And if you turn around and say, "But it's gonna last forever" then you're very optimistic. These things generally never last forvever.

    I just got back from seeing Narnia and I wasnt impressed. Thing is LotR has set the bar for fantasy films and even though people say it should be Narnia will be compared to it.

     

    The acting is terrible in it as are the costumes. The whole armour the kids wear seem to be like the little plastic sets you used to be able to get when I was a kid. There are some stupid things that happen in the movie which i will put in spoiler boxes.

     

     

    Peter at the end fights 1 on 1 with a minotaur. Hes what like 12 and can stand up against a huge beast

     

     

     

    The fact one o the girls gets a bow and arrow set and she fires 2 arrows in the whole film.

     

     

     

    The kids somehow know how to command an army and fight with swords

     

     

     

    Whats the deal with santa giving weapons to kids? Merry Christmas have a sword!

     

     

    I will say that I did enjoy Liam Neesons performance and the music was awesome but other than that it was very disappointing. Kong should be a hell of alot better.

     

    In answer to all of those. Narnia is magical and fictional. It's the way it was written and was written for children and adults who still have an imagination. It's not meant to be realistic.

     

    And to some other guy who posted earlier, they are making the films in publication order not chronological. He wrote them in the order they are gonna make them. Prince Caspian is next and they're already writing the script.
