Parker being in the team of the year is a good issue of debate. I just found it hilarious that Maddog thought it was such a an incredibly bad decision.

I think that may have been down to the fact he was nominated for player of the year as well, so votes would've got split. Aguero definitely deserved it more. How is Parker for team of the year ridiculous Maddog? He won November player of the month, and was one of the main reasons we went on such a good run in the middle of the season. Liverpool have a very good first back four, you just don't score enough goals.

Kompany, Caulker, Distin, Collocini, Skrtel - to name a few that easily rival those. Players whose teams all boast a greater number of clean sheets, and fewer goals conceded (bar Newcastle). I'd have Kompany over both of those, and I'm sure most people would.
