Mike D Posted September 16, 2005 Posted September 16, 2005 As the Revolution controller looks like it's using the same sort of technology used in gyroscopic mice, I was wondering if anyone's had any experience using them, and what they think. I had a go with one back in July, and to be honest, it was quite difficult to control where the pointer on the screen was going. Moving it in a straight line was almost impossible. Although I trust Nintendo not to release anything that isn't easy to use, I am a little apprehensive about how accurate you'll be able to be with the controller. Another thing I was wondering is how the controller knows when you're moving it to play the game, and when you're just fidgeting on your chair, putting it down so that you can scratch yourself or something. With gyroscopic mice you have to hold down a button for the gyrocopic sensors to register movement, but judging by the videos, the Revolution controller doesn't have anything like this. Any thoughts?
