wired69 Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 According to this post on the Nintendo forums, someone has found a viable alternative to Nintendo's own USB Ethernet adaptor: It seems I can't post URL's yet as I have only just joined so copy and paste this in your address bar: forums.nintendo.com/nintendo/board/message?board.id=internet&message.id=9095 There is also a video of it in action: youtube.com/watch?v=gtMNIxTMKCE Unfortunately, I could not find any of these in the UK. Has anyone tried any other brands? I know most don't work but it is worth a try if you have access to one. According to a leaflet packed with my Wii, it states that Nintendo's adaptor is not out until some time in Spring (so I'm not going to hold my breath for the supposed January release.
Spark Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 As long as it's got a AX88772 chipset, then it should be ok. I can't find one anywhere in the uk though, I'm sure some of the adaptors on ebay probably fit the bill but the descriptions don't go into that much tech detail.
