  1. Wii Sports is awesome. I love the game and enjoy all 5 games to varying degrees. My faves are Tennis, Golf, and Boxing. Baseball is the weakest but can still be quite fun. Love the fact that Boxing is so physical and I always break out sweat (even being a gym person).

Golf is great too, never thought I'd ever enjoy a golf game so much.

Love the game, it breaks up my play on Zelda nicely gets me off my butt and working my limbs. Great stuff.

Funny thing is my brother who had a PSOne and a PS2 and got bored of all gaming, is suddenly interested again and desparate for a Wii.

  2. I'm not impressed with the new video. I'll still be interested in buying this game but not for full price. I don't know why they are rushing it out. They should spend time on it like they have on Red Steel and Rayman. It's not like they haven't got enough titles to take advantage of the Wii's launch.

  3. I finally picked mine up from my folks. was disappointed when i couldn't find it, but I eventually did hidden under a load of junk. I'm so happy now.

I've noticed that on the GAME site there are preorder bundles. Noticed Zelda bundle for £119.99. Hope they have this in the store. They also had Zelda and Red Steel bundle for £159.99, but I can't see how you save anything extra on that.

Anticipation is reaching fever pitch, so much more excited than on the Cube launch.

  4. Fire Emblem are one of those games that hold there value because they are highly rated but they don't sell massively in the West.

If you really want it so bad buy it for £30 before you can't find it anymore. I think even second hand you can expect to pay over £20, so why wait? it's not going to be put on sale.

  5. So that is Sothe then? tbh i didn't get his part so much in Path of Radiance and I never used him because he was so weak. I remember he was looking for someone, but that was all.

I don't really mind if this uses traditional controls, but i'm guessing you can't you the Cube pad on it and will have to buy a classic controller? That takes the biscuit if it's the case. The Classic controller should have come with the Wii as far as I'm concerned.

it still looks just like Wii version and tbh i don't expect it to really change.

For those that haven't played Path of Radiance, I recommend it even at full price because it's worth it. As you can see from my list I rate it very highly. Completed it on hard and keeping it still.

  6. yeah all the extra vids, and screens lately have got me excited beyond words. i am now anticipating this game more than any other game ever including Ocarina of Time. i remember still when i first bought that on release day and it was pure magical.

70 plus hours, much larger than Ocarina of Time? well it took me roughly 80 hours to complete that game. admittedly i like to enjoy my games, and explore everything. But this will be looking at over 100 hours spanning over a many months i think.

  7. how can u be so sure what number u are on the list? unless you asked at the time. those slips might be wrong. as in mine they started taking pre-orders before using the pre-order slips so they were out of count. i was told i'd be about 29th. Pre-ordered back in 30/09 at GAME.

However, I recall reading on their notice that Loyalty Card holders get priority allocation. So even if u pre-ordered first but don't have a loyalty card, it don't mean u are first in the queue.

  8. is this out in the USA? i'm still really miffed that Nintendo being the publishers of this game are not bringing this out in Europe. I kinda expected it, but still it anoying espcially for english pal regions.

and the Wii is not much more powerful that the GC and is fully backwards compatible. This game along with Zelda on GC, Paper Mario, and Donkey Kong game should have been the GC's swonsong lineup. They would have sold well despite the Wii's release.

  9. i absolutely agree that the Wii version should also have tranditional GC controls. They have already done it for GC so it's already there, no much extra work would need to be done surely.

It would make fans a whole lot happier for sure. Nintendo never let us fans have it so good do they? It's always got to be what's best from a Business stand point, maybe even knowing that some people will therefore buy both versions.

  10. i haven't even bothered looking at the article but it is something I genuinely believe will happen. When the Wii is massively popular every body will be chomping at the bit to emulate Nintendo. It's a matter of time before we get other new controllers. Will any of them be better than the Wii controls, no I doubt it but they will take something away from the Wii's massive selling point.

Let's start with the PS3 joypad for example. It could be used for controls similar to Sonic and Excite Truck.

  11. Has anyone got 'any' idea how many consoles GAME shops will get in each store?

Also i am right in saying that every GAME store will get at least 1 Wii right?

There won't be any stores that don't get one, thats what i meant?

When i asked the assistant he expected most stores to get around 50 units each, but believe what you will, all depends on location.

Neither GAME or Gamestation in Cambridge have much up for the Wii. Both have a simple A4 sized piece of paper.

  12. I have 5 Wii's pre-ordered now,i'm sure i'll get one.

Can i ask why you need 5 Wii's? It's incredibly selfish if you are buying them to sell on to make a profit when some people won't be able to get one if there is a shortage.
