I didnt expect 3rd party stuff but if Japanese 3rd parties are on board I do hope they reveal some games soon that they have in line for the Wii U.

Damn right it matters. I remember my next door neighbour getting Streetfighter 2 on import on his famicom and then being shocked when I saw SF2 on the Snes. The borders just killed it. I didnt even know the Wii VC was 50hz. My wii is Japanese so I just assumed the PAL wii VC games ran the same but no obviously they didnt.

A price cut alone would cause a short term spike. Software is whats needed.

The worry for me is no games to turn it around. The Direct was great but those games are a while away. In Japan they have nothing substantial being released for ages. I really do think nintendo thought just NSBMU and Nitendoland would be enough to carry the machine until Pikimin and Wii U fit arrive.

Only thing I am disappointed with is no miiverse 3DS yet.

Something which nintendo said they wanted to avoid as the same thing happened to the 3DS. I wouldnt even call that a drought. 4 schedules releases up until June. Now this may well change but as it stands there are 4 confirmed releases. Thats not good enough!!

How many times does it have to be said. The numbers are only going to get lower as there is no software being released. If there was actual releases in Japan then it wouldnt be selling vita like numbers and possibly below the PSP next week. Instead of banging on about trends how about telling us how these sales will be reversed when Japan has no games coming out?

DMC bombed!!! The 3DS is a beast. Vita back under 10k again and the the Wii U fast approaching. PS3 with no price drop is outselling the Wii U. Not good!! Fantasy Life absent again. There must be no stock anywhere.
