Looking back at my Miiverse posts (which are usually done dis-sober'd), I think I may be a bit of a perv or something...maybe it's the spandex in this game....

I've ordered 15 of each of them at this stage....if I pull this off, I'm going to put them all on the dash of my car in a neat little row like little plastic jesuses.

Thought I'd give NFS a break and have a few goes of this properly and now can't put it down. Really enjoying the "being Batman" feel of it although, apart from the story, it could just as easily be a "being Predator" feeling as well.

Just settled into a sesh of this and find it needs an update. Please be even more cars!....although, let's face reality, it won't be.

I love those jumps. I tend to just drive around having fun and when I see a ramp, I'll have a few goes at getting 1st on them and move on. Tried a few challenges last night after a few drinks and posted some awful times so might only play this when I'm sober from now on.

This game is starting to affect other things in my life...this is me shopping today...

I'm in the same situation myself. Played this for the first time last night and the combat is a hell of a lot of fun. Wasn't great at it though as I had a few on me by the time I got round to playing it but graphics are very cool, no glitches or framerate issues, the sound is hella atmospheric and the story has me already. I'm beginning to wonder if I'll even finish Mass Effect now...

Much prefer just races myself. Had a go of making a playlist last night and while it's all races, I must see if I can start a friends server with it maybe tomorrow night (tonight is booked for wifey-luvin so I'm out 'til then).

Was up 'till four last night playing this and Batman. Tried joining an online public server and hadn't a clue what I was doing (just challenges like "get on top of this building" apparently). So quit out of that and brought my 911 around the city for a spin. This is the most fun I've had with a racer for a long time. Just driving around and occasionally passing a speed camera where the fastest speeds of my friends list are there for record is very cool. I found myself doing a handbrake and going back to have a go of each one I came across and then heading off again. Had a few races every now and then as well just to make sure I wasn't "wasting" my time not building up my car upgrades but this really is the type of game where you can "waste" your time having a hell of a lot of fun without progressing. I didn't come first in any of them (@Serebii has most of them by the looks of it) but I knocked @dazzybee off a few places ) That's one thing I think I really like about this game. You don't have to be online with your friends to try and beat your friends. Just hit left on the d-pad, pick a race the game recommends and have a crack at beating your friends times. I have a feeling this is going to take a very long time to get through but it's a very satisfying racer so it'll be time well spent!

Just got this but probably won't play it for a while seeing as I want to get into NFS first.

Mine was delivered to the office today. I was, however, taking care of three kids that the crèche considered highly infecto-monkified. So cya online tomorrow night so.

Spent the day drinking pints to a live band in a pub back in my home county. Cracking stuff like the Frames, Horslips, Tom Petty etc. Due to having three kids under 4 and not going out much anymore, I was a bit overdressed for the occasion though. I prefer to see it as looking "sharp" though as I quite enjoyed the lusty country girl comments and walked away thinking "yeah, still got it"... Doesn't matter that they were beat by the ugly hurl at all at all!

For anyone with a headset, how's the voice chat?

Yup, busy this weekend with visitors but might catch you before then. I'm a bit better at it now so fingers crossed it won't be 8-1 again!

Jaysis lads how did I not know how good this game actually was? Yes, I'm new to the ME games but as a big fan of Babylon5 back in the day, I'm lovin this so far. Tough getting used to the pad controlling it coming off 6 years of wii remote but the story had me at the start and well...the graphics are pretty amazing. That Ashly one though; she's getting some edza lovin fro sho!

I'm the easiest person to get pressies for in my family; if it has a Nintendo badge, I'm happy. We've always been a big pressie family, we almost like giving pressies more than getting them. I showed this to herself last night and she was well chuffed, made her night before I made it again

Hi all, I wasn't planning (financially) to get the WiiU until my March paycheck but someone in the xmas work do won one and offered it to me today for 200. It's the Premium Nintendoland pack and well, he hasn't even opened it as he's not a gamer so it's too good an offer to pass up. I'll be getting BlackOps2 in March though (with headset) so Nintendoland is the only game I'll have until then. Anyhoooo.... I'm bringing it home tomorrow night and need to fill my head with all of your tips and tricks with regard to the first setup. Few questions so far: I have a projector in the room I'm putting it in (hdmi & component inputs) with a separate sound system that comprises of the need for av red/white inputs (my amp blew a while back so I'm making do with this for now). 1) If I hook up the hdmi, is there any way of using the av cables to carry the sound? 2) If I use the component cable, do I get full 1080p? (projector supports 1080p natively). 3) What's the first thing I do when I open the box and plug everything in? 4) What order do I do the system update/wii transfer and any tips etc after experiencing it? 5) What do I need to back up from my Wii that won't be transferred? 6) Is the Wii pretty useless or worth hanging on to after the transfer? 7) Is playing Wii games on the Wii U system the same or different? 8) Is Nintendoland any good in the long term and what's the best game? 9) Do you use the non-game features as much as you would on the 3DS? I was addicted to Letterbox and every other thing about that system and am hoping that I'll have the same type of fun on the WiiU. 10) Any other nuggets of knowledge?
