  1. Here's the deal - I work in more than one part-time job and one of them may have me work on the evening during Nintendo's conference. I'm gonna try to participate in some extreme sports throughout the week so that I can get fucked up so I've got an excuse to take that shitting day off that the Queen kindly provided for us. If I make it out of those extreme activities in one piece then that glitch is just plain dick. Really not resting happily at the minute.

  2. Just added all your predictions to the original post, and man did get a few visits from lumberjacks during that time to cut down my wood.

Someone predicted an Ice Climber game as something silly, but I think that that could be a kick-ass co-op game. Developed by Good-Feel perhaps, with a graphical twists and whatnot.

The hype has enveloped me and now I can't help but be majorly dissapointed if one of the following doesn't show up:

    - New Okami

    - New F-Zero

    - New Star Fox

    - New Mario & Luigi on WiiU

    - New Advance Wars on WiiU

    - New Metroid

    - Smash Bros. teasers

    - 5 new IPs

    - Zelda surprises

    Edit:

AND GIVE ME MORE OF THIS GUY!

    Ghost.Trick.Sissel.3c97e2aaa71a3cd897a5ca4adbbe7a3e.jpg

WOAAHHHHH!!!!! A whopping five new I.PEESH? Lol somebody's pushing it.

Is pressing an hand-sized button on his buttocks a requirement for that special move?... To divert his farting force to his right hand?

Blur effects? The graphics were massively improved. New models, new textures, new lighting effects, a lot more detail.

Yeah I totally forgot about that, my mistake. I even remember hearing talks about certain original atmospheric elements being erased to keep these new visual effects to look fresh and polished. Still, I don't personally think that one, two, little modifications such as a-not-too-extreme graphic overhaul and/or a different control method, or even an added level or whatever is a dramatic revision. But like Jonnas said, it's just personal point of views so point taken.

  3. Nah seriously I'm sorry! My punishment is that I am not aloud to comment in this thread again at least until you 100% this game.

Honestly though, my experience is a blur on that game and that's never usually the case with Zelda games. If you want then you can give me a spoiler on Naruto Shippuden (not a huge one, C'mon ididn't give a huge spoiler did I?)

  4. @Retro_Link 12bneuralizer.png

You will continue to be a Nintendo gamer and you will date a hot chick and become successful in your career and continue to love all of your close one (your best mates friend slept with your ex though :blank: )

You either choose one or the other, there's no going back. It doesn't really matter though, the outcomes are different but it doesn't impact anything.

Such a child. It exposes what you, the player, is like as a genuine person. :nono:

@Jonnas is that what you said too, but in high-level english?

The reward is the same for both options. Plot-wise, both outcomes are a bit different (only a bit. And it's ultimately inconsequential outside of the characters involved)

  5. Zero Mission is great, but don't compare it to OoT 3D. The latter is a (heavily) upgraded rerelease, the former is a remake in the most literal sense of the word.

Either way, why are we talking remakes? I'd rather see them show the capabilities of the U tablet with new stuff before they announce another New Play Control line-up.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D has been (heavily) upgraded? I don't think that was you say is false, but I imagined that the only adjustments were the addition of glassesless 3D and perhaps blur effects to smooth out the visuals (and maybe other teeny things regarding gameplay [weapon selections etc]). Since I don't have a 3DS and I'm still doubtful that I ever will have one, may you please enlighten me on the pimpage that has been done to OoT on the 3DS?

@Wiimake-dUdes, although I appreciate your speculative imaginations on the topic, which indeed is relative to E3, there's another thread for such discussion. It'd be even more appreciated if you guys could discuss more new possible projects that may or may not see the light of day. : peace:

  6. I think its is more better then other.

Whaaaa'? Listen Mr. Allen, the Wii's dead and so should this thread. You may aswell just post in the here and now thread well, kind of in the Wiiu discussion thread. Why would you even want to visit this thread, Mark? Why???

Hey can somebody block this thread please? No - chuck it in the retro gaming section!

  7. So, guys, could it be safe to assume that the Vitality Sensor idea has been scrapped? Were Nintendo just demonstrating to the public the wavelength that they like their ideas to be on? Or could it be apart of some Wiiu Fit game (or other health based) games? There's no way that that thing could be an actual controller, right? Or is there?

  8. Are one-on-one fighting games even that "big"?

    You again with your questions.

Well the fun that they provide is big. Not really bothered how much money is made from the game, if I like it - I buy it. Contradictingly, I am bothered how much copies are sold, for this would determine how many challengers are awaiting fun loving times online.

And one more thing; 't is not exactly "one-on-one" since it's a 'tag' street scuff. So I'm hoping that now because online is so awesome, TEKKEN Tag Tournament 2 will adopt the feature from NARUTO: The Broken Bond and have two random (or friendly) players teaming up tagging against another two random/friendly players.

I'd love if it'd be possible for upto two players per console if two unanimously decide to play together. Maybe even being open-minded with the 'tag' and perhaps make it at least 3-on-3 (6 human players playing together). Dear God please make the new Smash Bros have a Tag Mode as well as the traditional Team Mode. Nothing more engaging then hearing the teamwork from teams yelling "LET ME IN, LET ME IN! PULL OUT, PULL OUT, YOU LUNATIC - LOOK AT YOUR HEALTH!!!" :bouncy:

  9. Hmm, that would be an interesting turn of events. SEGA also seem like the kind of publisher that would do something like that.

Plus there have been a ton of games that have been delayed from late 2012 to early 2013 recently; Bioshock Infinite, Aliens CM, South Park: The Game, Tomb Raider and seemingly Metal Gear Rising (going by a recently changed Amazon listing http://www.amazon.co.uk/Metal-Gear-Rising-Revengeance-PS3/dp/B006T960GE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1337591898&sr=8-1 )

Now there's only 6 big PS360 games left to come out in Q3-4 2012 (Asscreed 3, BLOPS 2, RE6, DOA5, DMC and Tekken Tag Tournament 2). I suppose that GTA 5 is still a possible 2012 release, but I'm not expecting that to hit the Wii U anyway.

    It's all quite suspicious...

HOLY IRON FIST!! I never knew about this!!!!! I used to kick literal ass-cheek on the first Tekken Tag. FUCK! Bring this shimmyshimmyshiznit to Wiiu please. Thanks in advance : peace:

  10. If on-line + grafix/powah + creativity/imagination is hammered then I could very much live off of the Wiiu versions of Mario Kart and Smash Bros alone! Not to mention all the other ones such as Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Kirby, Donkey Kong, Pikmin, Pokemon!!!!!!! (if done correctly), new I.Pz and third party shit.

If the above 3 things are hammered then please consider me nailed. :love:The only thing that could possibly go dreadfully wrong is controller issues

EDIT - Also add FUCKING ZERO to that above list (and any other awesome chocolate)

  11. I actually agree with you, but I do try to see Nintendo's vision: What's the true difference between the hardcore and casual gamer? Do they not play and enjoy games of their own tastes? You could even thank the casual for existing, otherwise Ninteno wouldn't have aimed higher and innovated with the wiimote idea (and such other ideas) which has hightened the possibilities of gameplay potential - and dare I say, possibilities of new and unique gamesez.

Don't worry, I understand Nintendo is obviously catering more for the latter audience by going as far as making 'hardcore games' (so to speak) more accessible for them thus ruining the hardcore experience. But I think that I do see their vision of their goal which they are attempting to reach.

But yeah, how are they bored??? This is a passionate clash of opinions from two pr0s in a Nintendo related topic!!

  12. DING DING DING!!!

Ok guys stop, stop. Stop. Just fucking stop. You lot are just circling a roundabout. You both have interesting opinions but rather that clash them together, you may as well just share your exciting viewpoints. :yay:

Honestly, I think "Ooh shit, how is this one going to reply" and that one always makes a comeback and redeems. I love a good old debate :D

But if Beverage may share his opinion on the 'supporting a company' topic: He doesn't see anything wrong with showing interest and following any company. It's no different from following music artists, or mangakas or actors/movies or what have you - they scratch their audiences back in entertainment and the audience scratches the entertainers back. Mind you, the entertainer can hustle their audience by giving a little tickle on the back (not providing a reasonably satisfyinging performance to leave them coming back for more - or rather 'hoping to be satisfied someday' ). That's when I'd find one quite weak-minded to be trapped under the illusions of false art.

And @Sheikah, you're looking at the tree instead of the entire beauty of the forestry in regards to even considering that Nintendo should port their titles to the other consoles.

  13. Well that's what I mean - a bit of both. Not so fast and hectic so that it's still rpg-like. I totally agree with that camera pov theory that you heard, but I do think it could still work well if executed superbly. Surely you can still take cover in first person view right? But when you do, possibly it goes third person. Battles can still be quite slow paced, just a bit more lively and engaging. Kind of have the characters staring into the camera/screen at you, speaking to your character/the player for you then to choose what options to select. Not saying this should happen, just wondering if it's a cool possibilty

  14. Current score standing at david.dakota 15-15 Sheikah. I'm just watching the replay to see if dakota's return was in or out. Looks like a break point to me....

    Sheikah still on service.

I didn't even bother to read the rest of your post because this was, to incredibly be honest without any offence intended, so fucking stupid that it would have been painful to not reply to immediately.

First you mention that they wouldn't particularly aim for a low return investment. Good point, although I said earlier that profits are profits, there's still a risk assessment with every idea and little profit may indicate there's no market for such collections and may not work in the future.

But then you went on to say that the Metroid Prime Trilogy for Wii only sold half a million. Only? Yeah it's not chart bursting but chat bursting means nothing, there's no place that says "Oh. you reached this place in the top 20, here's your prize!". What matters is the fact it sold half a fucking million copies of a collection that required very little effort compared to that of a new game.

Add that to fact a lot of games haven't reached 500,000 and you start to realise that half a million isn't "reasonable" sales, it's pretty fucking good for a collection of games that most of the fanbase have already bought previous versions of.

SHIT THE FUCK DOWN AND SHULLUP WHILE I'M WATCHING THE GAME!! *gets ball collecting squad to stone you with tennis ballz*

  15. Define "Haloified gameplay", please.

I'm not objecting against what you say in any way, I just don't realy know what you mean. I must admit, I'm probably the only Xbox 360-owner whom doesen't have anything with Halo written on it.

Oh well I just suggested that Mass Effect should be a little more similar to Halo because they're both similar games but ME's stories more there but Halo's gameplay is more in-your-face. So maybe the perfect game for Mass Effect would be to be in first-person view, more mini race-wars in epic locations but not so Haloey in regards to weapons and unrealistic super jumps etc. You want both games to remain unique and believable in their own pov.

Not sure if I explained that well, but hope you get what I mean a li'l.

Hero-of-Time you're ripping my abs with those giffy gaffy thingies, that pokemon themed one was great. keep em coming

  16. I don't know how I'd react to this TBH. I absolutely adore the ME franchise and most certainly want more. But the combat isn't really the heart of the ME franchise. The characters and story is.

Also, there MUST be an option for you to play offline.

Precisely. This is just me but that's why I think it'd be more fun if game-play was Haloified (not too crazy mind you), but keeping the third-person view for taking cover and other sort of things.

It may aswell've been a friggin' movie, man.

  17. @david\.dakota I kinda understood his calculations, for he broke it down kinda dopely. Are you gonna take that?..[/size]

But remakes just for HD and a few additions, hmmm probably. But I'd be up for something miles more grand, yet definitely completely original (not fiddling with something already good... but rather exaggerating/highlighting/expressing things more magnificent than when it couldn't be done. Adding in more ideas to that fits in naturally - almost like those ideas were always meant to be! Yessss, that is art  )

  18. WOAH SH!T, AN E3 TIMER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BY THE TIME THE TIME IS UP, SO WILL MY DICK AND THAT'D THE THE 'DING' NOISE YOU'' HEAR AS AN NOTIFICATION THAT E-MOTHER PHUCKIN' 3 HAS COMMENCED. Let's just hope I don't get a thong-block to prevent the 'ding'

  19. Yeah, thanks Queeny. You have your street parties, I'm having some Nintendo love by live stream.

You ungrateful bastard. Well to show our appreciation to have been granted the honour and privilege to catch our highness that is Nintendo at the biggest event, like ever, I shall stay in-the know regarding the royal highness' Diamond Jubilee up until the point the E3 music begins and you can see camera-view of eager bastard steaming around the building like hype trains. All attention will then be on E-frwii - thanks Queeny. :geek:

Another prediction: Mass Effect: N7 Operations

    - A squad-based Mass Effect game.

    - Gameplay taken directly from Mass Effect 3's surprisingly good multiplayer mode.

    - Will focus on a 4-player co-op campaign, about 7 or 8 hours in length.

    - Will have speech options, but not much in the way that will actually affect the story in a big way. Will be similar to The Old Republic's group conversation mode (everyone picks an option, but one is randomly chosen to say the line they picked)

    - Will have a similar wave mode to Mass Effect 3, but with more options. Will also be alternative game types.

    - Will have competitive modes, but not deathmath. You will compete with other players but you won't fight them directly.

    - Wii U controller will be used for easier squad commands when you have AI allies, and map/radar. Conversation options will be on the controller screen.

    - Will have greater customisation than Mass Effect 3's multiplayer. You will be able to edit the face, have suit options, etc.

    - Will be on Wii U, 360, PS3 and PC.

'Ow 'bout all that creativity is reserved for F-zer0, Metroid or even some kind of Star Fox (or all fuckin' 3) and it'll only be on Wiiu?

  20. Are you reading and commenting on the right thread or indeed forum? + You're not reading cached copy of Cube-Europe.com, are you? + I ask because WTF... just WTF? = ......

I keep abreast of technology, I can assure you.

You lucky bastard. I admire ya, I really do mate.

@Sheikah you make some decent points, keep 'em comin' because I feed off of you guys' passion. :hehe:

It's just that D.D is one of the many that I love seeing in a good ol' friendly debate!

But Beverage agrees that focusing heavily on being Wiimake-reliant isn't the most rewarding of strategies, so Nintendo should indeed do it in the most cost-effective and time-effect ways that they usually do. I just have a sincere dream that even if 2 or more (but under 6 games) got a 'perfect remake' treatment. Heck, even if just one game did:love:

    My question would be:

Why would Nintndo create, promote and distribute old titles as HD remixes when they could just release them online on WiiU which may have a wonderful 'upscalling' effect on older GCN/Wii titles. They'd make FAR more money FAR easier this way.

All you fuckers care about is moneeeeey. It's not about money, 'tis about sending a message: "Fans, we will demonstrate our appreciation for your long-time support and shall entertain you, who be our audience, with artful remakes of the classic shows which captured your interest, using it - your interest - as an conduit to channel joy into your spirits."

Fuck the money, .. which I'm pretty sure they'd make some bread if they'd just put in maximum, loving effort.
