  1. 3DS eShop Thread

Nor do we here in Finland...
  2. The Last Story (24th February)

Great! A little more than two months of waiting then! Once it's out for preorder, I'm there!
  3. Official Issues and Problems Thread

@pratty, I have the same problem. I researched it a bit, and it actually is caused by Wii overheating, mainly by having WiiConnect24 on. In some machine's the stanby-cooling won't work, and so the system overheats when it's on Standby-mode. That problem occurs when the GPU is damaged. Here in Finland, the distributor won't fix it (they can't, probably) and only way to do it would be buying a new Wii. I've had this problem for a year now, but I'm not planning on getting a new Wii now. I'm just waiting for Wii U.
  4. Xenoblade Chronicles Official Thread

It does. As Area Affinity rises, more people will offer you quests, and if I remember correctly, people will also trade different stuff (better or worse, can't tell).
  5. [Spoiler-Free] Zelda: Skyward Sword

I just got my game too. Haven't played it yet, decided to listen to the music sampler first. I have the week off from school also, so what a great timing for Zelda to appear!
  6. The Last Story (24th February)

As with Pandora's Tower the official site is now open. Names have been changed here too: Elza is now Zael and Ruli Island is Lazulis Island. No biggies, i guess. It also seems to be rated 16 by PEGI, and includes the Wi-Fi mode.
  7. Pandora's Tower

Riiise up! Official site has been opened! By NoE that is. It contains an old trailer and synopsis for this game. Apparently Ende is called Aeron and Celes called Erena in Europe. Good or bad? Can't tell right away. Must play the game first.
  8. Wii U essentials?

Absolutely, Nintendo should bring over HD port/remake on Disaster. I have never even heard comments on that game from Monolith themselves, how they thought it came up. Maybe they could do it, if a film company would get rights for it to make a movie. Could work, since the game is pretty cinematic itself.
  9. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3DS

Sheik is not in Kakariko Village, but you shouldn't meet him in the first place. Check around the Graveyard, and listen to hints some people say in the village. Sorry for not giving direct answer, at least, no spoilers here.
  10. Xenoblade Chronicles Official Thread

Is there a list of Alcamoth timed quests somewhere? I have been doing quests from Alcamoth for a while now, and think I have nailed them at last. It's just that Alcamoth is so huge place, it's easy to miss some minor things. Also, when will it be too late to finish those quests, or invite citizen to Colony 6? I'm at Prison Island right now, and need some things to build Colony 6 more. I think I can get them later, but does completing of Prison Island trigger something in Alcamoth?
  11. Xenoblade Chronicles Official Thread

Could someone help me? I'm in Alcamoth, and I can't find Monster Quest 3. I've been looking for it, but can't find it anywhere. There shouldn't be any time related problems, since Monster Quests are given by nameless NPCs.
  12. Gamecube games in original resolution

I have the same problem, and I haven't found any way from Wii to play the games in their original format, so I have just used my TV's settings to make it look right. Hopefully Wii U will fix it, so the console itself can define, whether the game is 4:3 or 16:9. Then again, it won't play GameCube games, but I'm pretty sure it's easy to make your TV use 4:3 always, if you use a GameCube.
  13. The Future of RPGs on Home Consoles

As far as I know, only one Major JRPG this gen has used random battles: Lost Odyssey. But that game was great, and many people agree with me. Many of the few who actually played Lost Odyssey thought that it was superior to Final Fantasy XIII and a real 13th part of that saga. But yeah, random battles are dying, as Lost Odyssey was the only one to use them. Even Mistwalker's first big JRPG Blue Dragon didn't use them, and The Last Story seems to be completely different. I'm not sure about myself, since I'm enjoying Blue Dragon right now, but the best JRPGs for me have used random battles as their basis.
  14. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3DS

Now I feel really bad that there is no Club Nintendo in Finland, so I had no way to get my hands on this CD. They will be found on eBay from time to time, I'm sure, but the price will probably be very high.
  15. Xenoblade Chronicles (Aug 19th)

Off-Topic note, but I just had to... Everyone, interested in Xenoblade Chronicles, take a look at Monolith's earlier Wii game, Disaster: Day of Crisis. I just played trough it, and loved every second of it. Not hard to come by, and definietly worth it's price. Just try it, you'll be surprised. Back to topic then, I'm plannin on pre-ordering this one from Discshop, a local film & Game Store. Their price is 53€. It's quite a lot, but at least they usually deliver the SCN-verion of the game, which I want.
  16. 3DS eShop Thread

I've been playing Game & Watch Gallery lately. Highly addicting game, and I'm planning on getting all the stars, even on hard mode. Though it doesn't actually give you anything, it's great to see all those stars filling your screen. Just a few more points on Classic Fire, and Easy is completely done.
  17. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3DS

Just bought this game today. It was a bit expensive at 60€, but I couldn't get it anywhere else on Sunday. Anyway, the game is as great as I remember it, the new look is great, and 3D works well, too, as long as I keep the right angle on the screen. Haven't ancountered any bugs or clitches so far, I only reached Castle Courtyard today, but ot feels great to play this classic again. I'm planning on 100%:ing this game, so it takes a while with Master Quest.
  18. Solatorobo to be released by NoE

I have actually started planning on buying this game. I just bought myself a 3DS, and I'm in need of a good JRPG. Would be a good choice while waiting for September and Xenoblade Chronicles.
  19. Solatorobo to be released by NoE

Checked out this game from GameFAQs, and they said that Namco is the publisher of this game in Europe. Are they wrong, or does Namco actually publish this, while NoE handles distributing?
  20. Xenoblade Chronicles (Aug 19th)

Shouldn't the title of this thread be Xenoblade Chronicles, since we are in Europe?
  21. Xenoblade Chronicles (Aug 19th)

Few years ago, I never thought I'd say this, but this is all thanks to NoE. Sure, they have left important games unreleased in the past, but lately, they have been making great decisions on theit own. Like not postponing games just because NoA did (Sin and Punishment) and givin us these great games. I haven't played Disaster: Day of Crisis yet, but people speak of a great game, and I should try it out. And I certainly will get Xenoblade Chronicles.
  22. Zelda Wii U [Tech demo]

Miyamoto confirms Zelda in development for Wii U. Wether it does follow the tech demo style, or not, we don't know. It may take years before we know...
  23. Xenoblade Chronicles (Aug 19th)

    Here's the direct link: http://www.livewii.fr/news/158766-Xenoblade_Chronicles_%3A_le_plein_d%27images_fran%C3%A7aises
  24. Metroid Prime Trilogy

It's not only Metroid. Castlevania also turns 25 this october, yet it seems like Konami will not celebrate it in any way (altougn in was mentioned in one E3-video). Granted, not as big game series as Zelda or even Metroid, but one of the best series ever, IMO.
