I wonder what this edition into the Smash series will offer in replacement of trophy collection as I reckon that'll be scrapped this time round. Perhaps a more personalised adventure mode where there are different themed levels and objectives to complete according to which character you choose? Or an "online mode" instead or more levels and characters. Other than those three possibilities, what else could possibly be included in the game other than trophies?

I noticed this the other day, so I thought i'd ask. Why is there no trademark symbol next to the Wii logo on the actual console and controllers? Is this just on my system or on your systems as well?

Same, I still need to get myself a copy of Starfox Assault, Pokemon Colosseum, Pokemon Box, Metal Gear Sold: Twin Snakes, Mario Superstar Baseball, Baten Kaitos 1 & 2, Ikaruga, Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, and Skies Of Arcadia just to name a few. To have just about all GC exclusive games released for the system.

There are few I didn't cover, but these are the ZOMG EXTREME announcements that have no chance in the world of becoming a reality, such as MGS4 and Resident Evil 5 coming to Wii, Wii region free with HD and Blue Ray/HD-DVD capabilities to release, Virtual Reality Helmet, Power Glove 2, Wall Projector Dongle etc.

I don't necessarily agree with this comment seeing as though only 4 stages have been officially unveiled AND NAMED, but I can understand where you are coming from though because there is a lack of motion, with the screens provided, you can only see certain portions and even with the stages that have multiple sections (i.e. Delfino Plaza), its looks as though its the same ol' stuff when in fact its not. Look at Delfino Plaza and you'll see multiple sections. Battlefield, typical stage as is Yoshis island bar the changes in platforms etc due to seasonal variation. The Lylat Cruise stage is as per my previous comment above. They'll no doubt be saving the BIG GUNS for the upcoming press conferences. Need not fear.

They are indeed. For Wii play, i've only got 4 Platinum medals in Shooting Range, Billards with a score of 65 points, Fishing and Charge! (cow riding game). Wii Sports, i've done very little of the training, mainly just play Baseball seeing as though thats my favorite game out of the 5, my rankings not all that good though, currently on 1549 but have beaten Sakura, the champ 3 times.

Interesting stage, although its sort of a clone of the Venom stage from Melee but instead of being at the the front of the ship, its at the back. Mind you it looks heaps better though. This stage doesn't allow for as much escaping and fighting defensive coward style where you wait in the corner and then strike due to its flat nature and plus constantly being exposed to environmental hazards perhaps having to be in certain spots to be safe. Overall, thumbs up from me.

Just realised that, edited the previous post, but I still reckon they'll show Kirbys final smash next... In the newcomer section the areas only wide enough to fit two more characters on the same line, so Meta Knight and Snake will definitely fill in those spots. Regarding whether Zero Suit Samus is seperated from traditional Samus, your guess is as good as mine...

June 20 Wed. 2007 June update = Wario. Many fans clamored for Wario to join the fray, and so now he finally makes his appearance...in his WarioWare costume. It’s rumored that this unpredictable character will give birth to a form of martial arts that other characters cannot even see. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The final smash of Kirby will be unveiled next I reckon before other characters as notice in the final smash image, the two characters on the left have had their final smashes unveiled as has Mario, so now naturally with the progression forward moving to the right, the remaining character being Kirby on the right should be unveiled next...

I don't think they'll get rid of one of the most popular Pokemon in Japan, Jigglypuff, I reckon hes a certainty to stay... Dr Mario guaranteed will go, he was a waste of space character really. The developer admitted to only including him for an excuse to put the Dr Mario music in the game. Perhaps he may be a selectable skin instead for Mario and when you select that skin, like Melee he'll throw Vitamins instead of Fireballs... Marth will stay, Roy will go Young Link possibly replaced with Cel Shaded Link Mewtwo replaced by Deoxys as you said Ness I think will stay but a new character from Mother 3 will be added to the lineup Ice Climbers - IF they stay and thats a big if, I'd like their moveset revised. Zelda: 50/50, if she stays, expect a revised moveset, possibly no Sheik transformation... Falco will be removed, unless they conjour up a unique move set, but I don't like him as a character and would not mind him being dropped from the list of playable characyers Mr Game and Watch although I liked him as a playable character, I don't like his chances of staying this time round... Pichu - Good as gone, in favour of a better more distinctive pokemon species. Ganondorf/Ganon - Hopefully will stay and use that sword he teased us with in Melee and not just be a clone of Captain Falcon. Perhaps even have a move to transfer into his beast pig form, resembling the model in the SNES game brought to life in 3d. Third party character speculation - Either Sonic, Megaman, Pacman or Bomberman.

You might've just sold me there. Nice amount None of the courses are clones and have holes that are mirrored with altered weather?

Fair enough, regardless of the outcome, i'm quite pleased with the way the games shaping up to be ATM and eagerly anticipate ZOMG UNVEILINGS.

Yeh ReZ, that'd be sweet as. I'd welcome his addition in the line up of selectable characters as he could potentially be a very distinguishable character and would complement the confirmed Delfino Plaza stage quite nicely. Obviously he'd be a little sluggish to control due to his large size, but he could potentially have a unique move set to offset this to some extent. Obviously one move would be VOMIT (the B move) where he'd ooze out that harmful sticky goo from Sunshine and have fighters get stuck in it for a few seconds being slowed down and difficult to move and jump out of and be harmed (i.e. Percentage goes up). Another perhaps parodying the game and actually pulling out FLUDD and squirting fighters with water? Sounds silly I know, but I wouldn't see Mario using FLUDD in the game as it'd take some of the spark away from Luigi if they implemented the Poltergust 3000 into his moveset to distinguish him from Mario. On the subject of Luigi, i'd sure love to see Luigis Mansion as a playable stage. Fingers crossed eh?

The only suggested improvement I can think of at this stage is as follows: Playable FREE demos for virtual console games. It'd be nice to have an option to select "Play Demo" with a virtual console game you are considering purchasing and then have a time limited play session where you get a chance to REALLY "try before you buy" and get most value for your points/dollars. After the time period expires, it can say something along the lines of "Thats it for free play" or "DEMO OVER" and then return you to the previous screen prior to selecting to play the demo.

Agreed, and Samus is supposedly 190cm Tall! (6'3") but whether she is that height outside her suit I don't think is actually known and is debatable...

Another interesting tidbit from the website: Different style crates and barrels according to which stage you select and crates that are on wheels as well.

I'd say get the following (for now): The Legend Of Zelda - Twilight Princess (Still the best Wii game to date so far) Mario Strikers Charged Football (Wiis 1st online game, a taste of things to come) and; Wii Play (For the additional remote to have that additional Wii Remote on the side) This is so you can save some funds and wait till the blockbuster games to come out in several months time such as: Super Mario Galaxy Metroid Prime: Corruption Super Smash Bros Brawl and/or other potentially great games such as: Batallion Wars II Animal Crossing Disaster: Day of Crisis Forever Blue Project H.A.M.M.E.R. and; Any other games yet to be announced at next months E For All conference.
