hello, i have purchased a Samsung LE-37S71 and that dimming thing really pisses me off. Whenever a scene is dark whole screen turns dark, even the menu letters, when i press the MENU button on the remote. When the scene is bright, sunlight etc picture is really nice, cause the dimming is off.
I went to the service menu and then at the OPTION menu, and at the Dimming setting has ANA-P3 as default.
The other settings it has are
ANA/PWM-P3
PWM
ANA/PWM-N3
ANA-N3
ANA/PWN-P5
ANA-P5
ANA/PWM-N5
ANA-N5
There is no Dimming ON/OFF button... although a friend of mine that has the 32S71 model it clearly says Dimming ON/OFF.
