It had been set at 50Hz from Christmas Morning. I have confirmed the setting even moved it to 60Hz and then back to 50Hz. There is not alot more messing around with the cables I can do.

My Wii has developed a problem with the picture. When you turn it on every thing is dark and distorted. I have not made any changes to the resolution settings but it is set up for 50Hz. Anyone any ideas how to fix this or does it need to go back to Nintendo. I connected the wii through my dvd recorder. The colour is much better but there is still some distortion.
