    So three more CD's arrived today...

    And for some reason I have ended up with TWO copies of From The Choirgirl Hotel by Tori Amos so if anyone wants the spare copy and is prepared to pay postage for it then PM me and it's yours. :)

     

    MUSE HAARP is a good live album. Hysteria and SS are iffy but the rest is pretty well recorded

    I am about to go tear up my season ticket for Watford. We are getting destroyed by Aidy Boothroyd. I wish he never came here I really do, forget the premiership if he takes over you will be gone in 3 years. We went to the prem and brought no-one yet we still got into trouble

    West Ham - Millwall scenes was a disgrace. How they can call themselves fans of football I just dont know. I wonder could this have an impact on England's 2018 WC bid.

     

    Hope the guy that got stabbed recovers.

     

    Edit: Also, Leeds 2-1 Watford. GET IN!

     

    Our kids did well, deserved a win but not enough quality in front of goal. Graham took a knock and Smith is leaving

    Yeah same here.... I think they also agree if you listen to any recent live recording of the song, it is so much better live.

     

    For me Arctic Monkeys are pretty much the best band of this generation along with The Long Blondes (who unfortunately split).

     

    Onto Muse i think some individual songs of theirs are pretty decent, but when I've heard an album together in full with all the inbetweeny bits they have I just get bored.

     

    Same with Foo Fighters, they are decent but not very spectacular in my eyes.

     

    The inbetween bits are long gone now, only did it on 3rd album

    Critical Thinking is pretty much accessing and analysing arguments. I didn't have very much fun with Critical Thinking AS, I think I got an E in it. A lot of universities don't take it seriously though.

     

    Three A's and a B means you will be taken quite seriously indeed mate

    So you are told to use the Poisson distribution as an approximation to the binomial. You are given all the stuf that you need by the look of it. The crux of the question seems to be

     

     

     

    It is talking about 7, or more, in 3000. One way to do this is to not work out the above question but to work out the probability of 6 or fewer. Then, one minus that is the same as the probability of 7 or more.

     

    Seems the gist of the questions will be the operation of this formula in numerical and real life situations

    I agree that Exogenesis is likely to be incredible, but I wouldn't go as far as speculating that it'll be the best song ever. I deffinitely think it'll be one of Muse's best though, I have no doubts about that! It's actually the only song I haven't listened to in the previews, as I really don't want to spoil that track for myself.

     

     

     

    Are there actual reviews out now then? Or are they just the track-by-track analysis articles?

     

    Those previews do not spoil a twelve minute track trust me
