Ahhh... yes. When ones argument begins to crumble, there is always the "FANBOY!" thing... I think the worst thing about this guy was that he actually didn't really understand what it was he was trying to get across, hence his mixed signals and terrible arguments... but of course he can elevate himself above us 'Fanboys' now, when infact he was far worse... a troll Nobody actually said the Wii could do no wrong, he merely tried to suggest that it could barely do right... but whatever. No one will be holding a gun to that freaks head and welcoming him back haha... Back to The Last Story then...!

OK it's clear you don't even have a firm grip on what it is you are even saying here... you dont think games should be graded on graphics??? You can't review games across all platforms because the platforms ARE architecturally different. It's as thick as dung to think OHHHH WELL I BETTER GRADE THIS LOW BECAUSE THERE IS A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT MACHINE THAT CAN DOOOOO BETTER!!! the person has bought that machine, the game is on thar machine... it has NOTHING to do with the PS3... The PC has and WILL always be superior to consoles, so WHY do I never see a review that says "Well the graphics on Skyrim are ok... OH but they are pretty SHIT compared to PC so... mark down..." and boy they ARE terrible in comparison! I mean a massive margin in quality!!! But you never hear people moaning, because it's a different animal, a different MACHINE... Seriously get over it, getting boring now and you don't have any good points at all! Really, your argument is a mess.

You're... strange. You DON'T think we should judge Wii games on the graphical capabilities of the Wii? That simply does NOT make sense... It's like saying a reviewer can mark Radiant Historia down for having fairly bad sprites, when the PSP can render fantastic 3D character models... it doesn't matter what else is out there, if you are judging a game on Wii then I'm afraid you are limited to looking at the Wii in terms of what it can do. I don't even mean "Awwww well it's just the little Wii... give it a 8 for trying" because there ARE great looking games on Wii! There just are, denying it is pointless. A reviewer can lament that a game has appeared on a graphically inferior console all they like, as you can (and clearly do) but the Wii exists, so it's a development option... it's an option people will choose for a variety of reasons... the control input, the fact it's Nintendo... oh and of course the fact that the User Base is HUGE! And deveopment is CHEAP and clearly people are stilll buying millions of Wii titles despite the graphical inferiorority... there are other reasons... The Last Story (just to bring us slightly back on topic here) appeared on the Wii because of the relationship between the director and also a big wig in Nintendo... also the low budget restraints... Gaming is a buisness... money is a huge factor... I can't believe you even asked the question "Why oh why bring a game to Wii if you want to push graphics..." I don't ever remember Hironobu Sakaguchi saying he wanted to push the graphics of today... infact he specifically mentioned his desire to create a game outside of the heavy burden of HD... and your NES analogy is so lame... it does your intellegence an injustice. i don't think it's unfair to judge a Wii game by Wii's capabilities, I just know that doing anything else is STUPID!

I still think that wii games should be judged by its capabilities... If a car can do 100 mph but with a certain driver averages at 70 you can say the driver isnt the best... In the way that they aren't making the most out of the hardware... Same with wii games... I'm so bored of people slating wii GAMES for their poor graphics... Slate the console til the cows come home, but the games are a different animal. They are being made within a hardware limit so there are going to be good wii graphics and bad wii graphics... Whinging that they aren't in HD is pointless and unfair of you are scoring the games in a review... The wii is not capable of HD, so stop harping on about how the game isn't as pretty as HD... This IGN reviewer sounds like a total moron... A graphics score MUST include artistic direction, and where some games lack the polygons they MORE than make up for in art direction!!! Plus we have a HD Nintendo console now, so be happy haha and Monolith Soft are making a game for it already so again, be happy!! I honestly don't think it's that soul destroying to play a wii game with its SD visuals... It's not even a shame. I own all 3 home consoles, and yes I love great graphics... But so what? I still love my DS and iPhone and GBA... I love the Wii. I love a lot of its games but I dont love pointlessly complaining and wishing that it was HD when it's not and never will be :P just look forward to the future! All these hard done by games developers 'slumming' it on the Wii will have probably learnt a thing or two about artistic design... So let's see what they produce on an HD console eh? We all knew what we were getting into with the Wii... And this is the end of its life so chin up and look forward to Wii U... (please change the name Nintendo...)

My advice??? Take the time to level up... I'm stuck on the last boss at lvl 80 and it is impossible... Man I has fucking hated the last part of this game... -_-

OK one thing I REALLY dislike about Xenoblade? The Endgame... it's overly long winded, you get Boss after Boss thrown at you... which is FINE if it's fun, but it rarely is... I mean it's just a funk load or running around, then boss after boss after boss and every so often you hit a wall of a boss that you CANNOT best any other way than just mindless grinding... I thought I had beaten the last of those types of bosses... I thought wrong... I really wanted this done before Last Story, but seems that's impossible... not spending hours grinding just to beat a cheap boss...

Hah, yeah I do get what you mean. Xenoblade is HUUUUGE!!! And I never complete Elder Scrolls games 100%... I do love that vastness though... a little but like Pulse in FF XIII... when you first land there it's like... WOW! Finally!!! but too little too late... I am the kind of gamer that loves to just oggle at the landscapes and Xenoblade was a treat for my eyes nearly all the way through... but yeah big worlds can sometimes be a detrement... if thats the right word lol

Haha Wow, either you're very hard to please or we obviously don't have the same taste in games... Xenoblade BORING? Ouch. That's fine though, would be a lot less interesting if everything worked for everybody. I personally think XIII and it's sequel are souless and horrible to play and experience... weirdly the sequel DID perk things up for me a bit but I still couldn't care less for the characters of that world... roll on Final Fantasy 15. I have to say I have always been cautiously optimistic about The Last Story... purely because Blue Dragon really let me down... it looks fantastic, it was really off the wall but my god that game slumped quickly and bored the hell out of me... Lost Odyssey I absolutely loved so who knows, lets hope the best parts of both form a whole... lol Time will tell!

Haha lucky so and so. So... how does it stack up to Xenoblade? or other RPG's recently released on any console??

Not an epic? Somewhat a relief actually haha I love RPG mechanics... whatever story they are woven around is no matter, big or small... How did you get to play it early??...

Amazon dispatched my 'fucking' order this morning!!! Sooo... if I'm lucky I shall have it by tomorrow??? haha I am so close to finishing Xenoblade!!!... I can't bear to have two Epics on my shelf... I need to complete Xenobladeeeee once and for all!!! The Last Story though... it looks fantastic. Oddly I feel like the production values of TLS are notably higher??? I might be mistaken, I mean what do I know but certainly things like character models are much more detailed... then again the trade off is only one Hub city in the game... Either way I am very excited to get this game!!! I won a copy at the Midlands comic-con but I am sure it was standard... Signed though... so I kept my Limited Edition pre-order... sad I know...

Well christ on a stick... I did it... If ever a boss is too much in Xenoblade... my ultimate advice? GRIND... Seems simple enough but seriously, there are enough side quests out there that dish out some nice EXP... urgh... Really did not enjoy that fight though... or what it took to beat it...

I might throw mine out the window in a minute, be there to catch it... Really though I have a good strategy for the 'BITCH'... if you kill 3 of the 4 elementals she doesn't seem to regen them! SO if you can make sure to not kill the 4th one... which is actually quite tricky... then it seems to work really well... got her down to about a 5th of her life before I was ended in some cheap way... nearly threw my nice red classic pro through the TV... Gaming enjoyment, this is not...

but the elementals give her ridiculous defence... surely ignoring thrm will make the battle last forever?

Well this is the most specific tip I've seen so thanks! I must just be terrible though because I just cannot get Melia to work for me.... even utalising those skills you mentioned, I just cannot even kill an elemental before I am floored... urgh... I fuckiong hate these moments in games because I tend to get too annoyed and leave them... and never go back lol...
