Just a minor thing I've noticed when I've been using my new Wii, when I turn on the console the blue disc slot light flashes on for about 1/4 of a second and then stays off after that regardless of there being a disc in or not and whether or not I put a disc in afterwards. Having seen videos from NE and other places with the light on all the time I'm wondering if there's something wrong with the light or has anyone else's Wii been doing this?

The two sat on the left of the couch here seem to have completely lost the point of both the PS3 and Wii when they reviewed them but Kermode and the other seem to have got it. IT'S ABOUT FUN PEOPLE!

I only registered to put this on the forum actually. I wasn't quite right incidentally it's in Newsnight Review not the Main newsnight programme. Looks like it's got Mark Kermode (the 'cutting' film critic) doing the review if that's what it is.

I've just caught a trailer on Newsnight (BBC2 UK) that suggests there's a small part on the Wii towards the end of the program. I only caught the end of it but it looked like someone using the Wii mote. Just a heads up if anyones wants to have a look
