  1. I'm planning on buying an external hard drive within the next few weeks (if I can afford it.) I do have space for another IDE in my PC, but I want to save it for now as I will eventually upgrade my pc and go SATA. Plus I might wanna share stuff with my mates, and this would make things a hell of a lot easier.

I was thinking of going for the one here: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/Maxtor_External.html (Maxtor OneTouch III 300GB T14G300, though might go for the 500GB version - cash/price depending.)

Any other recommendations? Ty if anyone can help! ^^

  2. http://www.museandamuse.com/news.html - Another new song, 'Map of the Problematique.' Just press the play button under the news post (June 4th). I've heard some of it and it sounds great. A lot of people who have already listened to the album say that this is one of the best tracks.

There's going to be a listening party on Muse's official Myspace page June 26th - 29th where we'll be able to listen to the album in advance.

  3. Heya, welcome to Revo-Europe.

Beverages and other snacks are located to your right and toilets are down the hall. Please stay away from the basement though as it's a dungeon for trolls.

Thank you and enjoy your stay.

  4. U lucky git! :p Wish I was going. Though I did see them December last year and that was awesome!! I saw Angels & Airwaves last night too, and that was brilliant!! Have a good 'un dude, it's gonna be immense.

  5. No need mate. I went and it was absolutely awesome. Everything about the show was perfect. Tom's singing was the best I've ever heard it live, it was near perfect, even my overly picky friend said he was great. He does over do the whole lets save the whole world thing a bit lol but it was such a great show.

If you're judging AVA on crappy bootlegs then sod off and go to a show. It was one of the best experiences of my life. I know many of you will think i'm daft but I loved it.

I've never enjoyed being crushed by loads of people as much as when Valkyrie Missile started. :p

Seconded. The show I went to was bloody amazing, a brilliant gig! No crappy bootleg can even come close to the awesome quality of the real thing. I loved the Box Car Racer (There is) and Blink (Down) additions to the setlist too. It was fantastic to hear those again. When the crowd sang them it was amazing.

AVA are just superb imo, I can't wait to see them again!!

  6. Ok major bumpage from an Admin...kill him, die etc

Anyway instead of making a new thread about this im gonna post i here....

I saw Angels and Airwaves last night at Brixton and they were fantastic, Tom is a God.

Played the whole album and the sound was superb... he has an amazing voice end of. Distraction was the highlight for me, maybe i was really drunk and happy when they played that but damn it was good.

He also played Down (Blink song) but he done it acousticly and slowed it right down sounded awesome. Then later on he played There is (box car racer) and just sang the verse and all the crowd were singing the chorus, agains sounded so awesome.

Loved it so much and i get to see them again on saturday when they support the Foo's. :)

Koolness, glad you enjoyed AVA. I can't wait to see them! Hope you enjoy Foo's too, and wish I was going to that. You lucky git! :p

I get too see them Friday. :bouncy: :bouncy: :bouncy: :bouncy: Glad you enjoyed it. I hope they're good!!! Does his voice sound a lot better live than on, say, a youtube video?

The same one I'll be at, should be awesome! ^^

  7. Touche on that comment.

Jonathan Davis sent a letter to the fans, it's on the Download site: http://www.downloadfestival.co.uk/news/index.asp

I'm just glad he pulled out after reading that, he's lucky to still be alive tbh. Hopefully he'll be fine soon. ^^

    EDIT, ANOTHER (VERY DISHEARTENING) UPDATE:

    http://forums.downloadfestival.co.uk/tm.aspx?m=808852

For those of you that can't be arsed to click the link, the police have reported 102 cases of theft, 56 cases of violence, 35 cases of vandalism and 3 cases of rape. I can't believe this! Humanity really makes me sick sometimes...

If anyone has leads or evidence on this contact the Derbyshire police or your local police station.

  8. Cool glad to hear it was good!

I've heard so many negative comments about GnR, though I'm not too suprised. They should have finished up a while ago - it's only Axel Rose from the original lineup ffs! It should be called 'Axel Rose and Friends'! Then again I've NEVER been huge on GnR, I only like a few tracks. Can't stand them most of the time.

And I've seen recent live footage of Trivium on the net, though it's from Rock Am Ring '06. Matt Heafy's voice is kinda crap tbh. Not bad, but the old songs have lost thier power. Mind you, I have heard that Matt got a throat infection. That would make a lot of sense. If that's the case, then kudos to them for still performing!

  9. Im back from Download! Jonathan Davis has been hospitalised so they put on Jesse Hasek (10 Years), M Shadows (A7X), Dez Fafara (Devil Driver), Benji Webbe (Skindred), Corey Taylor (Slipknot, Stone Sour) and Matt Heafy (Trivium). Hasek and Shadows sucked but the rest didnt do too badly. Corey was actually good and Matt didnt entirely suck balls like I though he would. None of them were as good as my friend and I though.

Soulfly were damn awesome, Metallica I couldnt sit through cuz of Lars' drumming (though it was nice of him to support JD and wish him well).

"You guys heard this shit with JD of KoRn? We don't know exactly what's going on, but our prayers need to go out to him, he's in a very bad place right now.

We dedicate this metallica show to JD. Hope everything will be all right." is what he said. I really hope he gets better. Oh yeah, it was hotter than hell in the Snickers tent when Prodigy came on.

I really wish I could have been there. I heard about John Davis too, cool that KoRn still attempted their show without him though. Sounded interesting, would have been good to see.

I heard Trivium played some new songs, and what's this I hear about Matt Heafy not shouting/screaming? :wtf:

  10. well i am not sure this is 100% genuine. the body looks too small compared to the head. if it is real he should sell it to a museum instead of on ebay. he would get more money that way. this also makes me think it is fake.

Oh, it is obvious that it's fake. Just that it's hilarious that anyone woyld think of selling something like this. It's already over the $300 mark too. Lol, insane!

  11. I'm currentley growing my hair long... or at least attempting to, as it's extremely thick and tends to 'fro. Tbh it's not long atm, but is slowly getting there. I'm hoping to get it down to about shoulder length (possibly a tad shorter, not sure yet.)

    Anyone got tips?
