Activision up Wii (and DS) Support!
raven_blade2006 replied to Retro_Link's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Thats the advantage of having a significant userbase. All publishers want to get involved with your console. I hope Wii sales continue to surpass all expectations. -
Lets hope they are succesful in bringing a scaled down version of Unreal Engine 3 to Wii. Give developers better tools to really push the console to its limits.
-
We wanted Wii to get treated equally by developers and manhunt is the result of this. Keep these types of games coming because there is no reason to be left out again.
-
Sure hope so. Its great to see Wii being involved in getting games that you would never have thought it would get. Keep them coming!
-
Great news to see Rockstar finally taking an interest in the Wii. I suspect Reggie and the fantastic sales have somthing to do with this. Lets hope it continues because third party support of this kind has been lacking on Nintendo platforms in the past. Variety is the key to success here.
-
Lets hope they still have more to show for Wii.
-
Heatseeker is slowly grabbing my attention. This could be a good game if done right. No online sucks though, please sort this problem Nintendo.
-
I sure hope they are bringing more support this week. They have been a bit light in terms of titles for the Wii so far. We need more from them.
-
hurry up and sell out.

Godzilla: Unleashed, first screens
raven_blade2006 replied to Ren of Heavens's topic in Nintendo Gaming
I look forward to the day when we dont have to hear that anymore. Besides the game actually looks somewhat impressive. -
I cant wait to see what their brainstorming has produced.
-
March and April will be your months to look forward to then. Some people here act as if they have never seen a console drought from launch before. The 360 had months of it after launch, the PS3 is having it right now, so is Wii.
-
Sony losing playstation 3 exclusives - now will also be on Wii and 360
raven_blade2006 replied to Cookyman's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Well Sony's loss is Nintendo's gain. Any game is welcome on Wii no matter what its content is or where it came from. -
Ohh, I knew that already but its good for others to read as well.
-
Yes, im happy with my Wii. You always know when buying a console at launch that it will not be at its best. However Wii is a console with a lot of potential and playing it from launch day has provided me with a glimpse of the future it offers. Things are looking very promising and im glad I have secured it. If you just look at how many people are still struggling to find one worldwide in contrast to the availability of the PS3 shows that this console is something different, something special. The Wii is the first Nintendo console in years that aims to go further in every area than they have gone before, im glad to be a part of it.
-
Great to hear they are giving some solid support for the time being. Lets hope others follow their lead and commit to Wii and DS development. Nintendo will live or die by third party support this generation.
-
What are they talking about when they say Wii does more online than you think? Anything new to report there?
-
Well I havent downloaded any VC games...yet. I hope Nintendo get a move on with the original games because they are behind the competition in this area.

Telltale seeking for Wii programmer to port PC games
raven_blade2006 replied to Teppo Holmqvist's topic in Nintendo Gaming
This is more like it! Ive been waiting for developers to really start bringing PC games to Wii. Now it appears they are getting the message. There are so many PC games that could work well on a console using the Wii Remote. Bring on the RTS games as well. -
Publishers wary of creating Nintendo titles, says Wii developer
raven_blade2006 replied to Dante's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Nibris are good guys. I hope they have successful development on Wii and DS. Besides third party devs should use their heads a bit more. If they want success, they should create good original games and release them at a time when no good Nintendo game is out. They can capitalise on any droughts of Nintendo software to ensure maxmium sales. -
Sure, why not?
-
I want to hear that all of those 700+ Wii's have been sold out by Monday.
-
Thats a lot of Wii games up there in the previews. Its nice to see that Scarface is coming to Wii as well. It may be another port but at least its a game in a genre that Nintendo has been lacking in. Hopefully it will lead to more original games in the future.
-
Oh and if it hasnt been said already. Both Medal of Honor Vanguard and Medal of Honor Airborne are confirmed as heading to Wii. Check GoNintendo.

Publishers wary of creating Nintendo titles, says Wii developer
raven_blade2006 replied to Dante's topic in Nintendo Gaming
It works both ways I would say. If the third party game is good, we will buy it. If its not good, dont even bother.
