    If it's wireless, then it should work, I don't know anything about SysLink routers though, or how to set them up. Do you have a friend who might know about that sort of stuff?

     

    The router is wireless. I originally got it so I could use Xbox Live and my PC internet at the same time, I was going to take it back when I couldn't set it up but I kept it knowing I was getting Wii and would want it for Virtual Console, etc.

     

    I have a broadband internet connection with modem from Blueyonder. Someone told me I have to configure the router first, agghhh :confused:

    Hey people

     

    I'm enjoying Wii so far. Played a bit of Wii Sports and about 2 hours of Zelda. It's great! Looks a bit crappy on my TV but my component cables are on order, so here's hoping they come soon.

    A question that might seem dumb to everyone else. How do I get online with Wii? I have a broadband connection with Blueyonder - what would be the easiest option for me?

    if its left the depot today surely it will come today? they aren't gonna take it back to the depot surely?!

     

    Yeah, we don't have a tracking number with Argos. I spoke to a few people at Argos, two of which were useless and one that was really helpful. She said I was 'one of the lucky ones' and I would get it today. I just don't like this wait though. As each minute goes by I get less confident that mine is gonna come :geek:

    Waiting, waiting, waiting...

     

    This really is agonising.

     

    EDIT: I ordered through Argos Direct (telephone) so I wouldn't know about any tracking number. I was thinking about ringing Argos and asking for mine but they are using a seperate company so probably wouldn't know anything about them.

    I ordered on the 8th as well! Didn't have an order with Play, but that was the day everyone was talking about play not being able to fill orders and my panic set in ;)

     

    A guy off another forum ordered on 16/11 and he got the call the other day saying he'd get it on friday. I wasn't in at the time but my girlfriend said it was between 8am and 6pm?

     

    Ahh, maybe I mis-heard the message. It was either 7 or 8, lol. I've been up since 7 anyhow doing some Uni work.

     

    I read somewhere that they are using a courier company called HDNL to carry out the deliveries, but as we don't have tracking numbers, it's useless.

     

    I just hope it comes early-ish! :bouncy:

    Cool, ah well I guess I can manage with just two controllers and one nunchuck. Might wander into town after my Wii comes (I have faith! It must come!) and see if Woolworths or my local indy shop have any remotes.

     

    Out of interest, when did you pre-order with Argos? I did mine on 8/11/06 after Play.com mailed me telling me I wouldn't get mine for launch.

     

    I recieved an automated answerphone message earlier on in the week telling me i'd get mine from Argos today...but I'm still paranoid. :heh: They said anytime from 7am to 6pm. Aghhh...
