  1. So this is launch apparently...

Oh they seem to have deleted it.

Launch titles were Zelda, Just Dance, Skylanders, Street Fighter, 12 and something else...

Later in March was Snipper, Fast and something else. Will see if anyone took a copy.

Seems they just took it down and re-did it... But if it goes again:

I know there will be more coming out this year, but they've got 26 games there for the first nine months. The Wii U launched with 30 games.

From these 26 games announced till now, there are at least 10 I will probably get and it could be more (I have to see what the other games are). I am actually happy with that.

I don't know about that, the Joy Con grip that comes with the console and the Jon Con Charging Grip sold separately look identical. It would be a ridiculous decision to make two different types of grip.

I've read about it on gaf. The charging one is different, you actually can get one for 2 sets.

  2. I assume he meant more that what has been shown so far is nothing more than a DLC pack (i.e. weapons primarily), but I imagine there will be more additions than that. If they consider MK8 a port but this a new game, there must be more to this than we're seeing.

"Splatoon Two" is clunky to say.

They did say it happens 2 years after the first game, so I hope they've ment the single player.

And it seems that gyro aiming is on :D.

EDIT: Glen-i just replied to my question from before. Thx :). I am happy with Splatoon.

  3. Thinking more about this and I am actually OK with the price of the console. The accessories are the problem for me.

In my case the Switch will be cheaper than other consoles looking "pound per minute/hour" played.

Even a PS4 or XBOXOne for 200 pounds would not be worth it for me compared to the Switch (I know, I am more on the extreme side).

The accessories are the problem as I would need the procontroller few times a year and for that price I can get a game or two.

  4. No, but I am planing to get it this year, even without the price drop. It's to hard to get it in Bosnia for a normal price (even the starting price isn't low, but I think that it will be worth it if you have the games you like - we should be playing it a lot more than other consoles, because we can play it on the go) so I will have to buy it abroad.

  5. More expensive than I have hoped for, especially with the pro controller prices (but I will probably go for the joy-con first), but I will still go for it as it is the only console that gives me what I need, a good portable with games I want to play.

I a quite happy with the announced games (Zelda, Mario, Splatoon 2, Xenoblade 2, Mario Kart - I hope that it will have new tracks, still didn't read everything, is really what I wanted, especially Splatoon 2 and Xenoblade, plus other games which are confirmed buy now).

Now, online could be a problem if it's expensive.

32GB storage is low, but it can be expanded.

I hope that more third parties will come out soon and announce the games, because the Switch needs it, but I am happy that there are not to many games at launch as I want to finish some games first, a before I get new ones (I am talking about first party games), but I also understand why a lot of people are complaining.

The voice chat thing is weird, I hope for some headset.

Anyway, Nintendo could have a lot of problems with sales, unless third party developers don't start coming out with their games.

  6. Middle of the road really.

£300 would have been bordering on too high

£200 would have been too low for Nintendo to actually make good business

£250 is fine, but not ideal if you want impulse buyers. It's about what most of us have been expecting

Thx :). My money is ready anyway, just to find a country where I am going to buy it :D.

  7. Personally I think my "sweet spot" is ve

I was comfortable using the Wii U gamepad screen, which is only 480p I believe? So I would actually be completely comfortable with as low as 480p in portable mode. As for portable mode... I think I would be wanting 4 hours as a minimum, bearing in mind battery life tends to dip after a certain amount of usage. 8 hours would obviously be nicer.

I am OK with the game pad, but I really want 720p for the switch. Not more, not less.

I really can't wait for it as someone who has night shifts and who has most of the free time at night before going to sleep, the Switch should be brilliant for me, but just let it be HD.
