Posted October 3, 2005 If new DVD players were needed then it wouldn't be too much of a bad idea but as apparently you need new players that sucks. Plus what if you're watching it and part way through you have to leave (wife went into labour or something). Next time you turned it on would it not work? Hmm... Posted October 3, 2005 Worst. Idea. Ever. The comparison to renting films is very poor. When you rent films you can watch it as many times as you want before the return date. Posted October 3, 2005 I don't like the idea at all - besides the fact that I want so see a film on DVD multiple times and therefore got it on DVD in the first place - so many natural resources are already wasted, I think this should stop but that DVDs only support our throw-away society.
