The letters in the abbreviation e.g. stand for exempli gratia - a Latin term meaning "for example."

thats pure myth. he did have alot of things wrong with him, especially by 1945, mostly thanks to his doctor. but he still had both his bollocks right up until SS officers burnt his body.

I'm still confused as to how a cow can piss backwards.

Anyway, my facts of great pointlessness:

1. Isaac Newton invented the cat flap, due to his cat always getting in the way of his experiments. (typical bloody cats)

2. The human heart beats 40 million times a year.

Following Ford's revelation, this seems appropriate:

1. Mr_Odwin has two testicles.

regarding the heart bit one, its one of another "general" stats. most of the "upper" life forms on the planet, IE mamals, rodents etc. have roughly 5,000,000,000,000 heartbeats per life time. goes for anything from an elephant to a mouse. their hearts just beat at a different rate depending on life span. (btw, thats 5 BILLION for anyone stupid or american)

Later on his cat had kittens, and he cut a smaller hole in the door for the kittens to go through...

And Ford, I think that fact, although true, does not apply to birds- they live far longer than they should. I remember seeing a programme on TV where people were trying to find out why this was, and managed to extract a substance that made worms live twice as long as normal.
