Posted November 4, 2007 For once I agree with Jezzer, cars without doors are brilliant things. I'd love it if all cars were all like that - purely utilitarian steel shells with wheels and an engine. It's one of the reasons I sometimes wish for the apocalypse. None of this chrome and leather air-con metallic paint nonsense. See how many people "need" a car then. Posted November 4, 2007 Brilliant episode tonight, crossing Botswana in £1500 cars which ended up stripped down to shells and then rebuilt on the other side of the salt plains. Posted November 5, 2007 loved it. oliver was the best car ever. hamond really did love him. the bit were they made the cars again, out of cans and that was classic. its not so much about the cars as having fun. i see why it upsets some people but not me.
