I've found this to be a good technique if you tweak it a bit afterwards. I also drop the sepia part sometimes, depending on the result I want.

I've also saved my settings for that method as an action in Photoshop. If anyone wants it, just PM me an email address to send it to.

"Eirik Solheim took 16,000 photos through his window in Oslo over the course of 2010. The images were 3888 pixels wide, so he chose 3888 of the photos and assembled a 1-pixel-wide strip of each, in chronological order, into this collage. It's sort of a time-lapse, expressed as a still image."

The people I took these for have said I can post them since their own website is taking forever to be made. My favourites from the handbag (and accessories) shoot I did:

Sort of. Before the shoot they kept insisting they'd pay me, but I kept saying not to worry about it. I was doing it to help them out as they are a small business (2 sisters), they're friends of mine and they're really nice.

After the shoot they gave me a thank you card with some money in. I didn't really want to be paid, but it seemed rude to turn it down.

I was mainly doing it for fun. The fact that I got to use one of these for the Polaroid shots (not shown) probably helped:

It's an amazing camera. Basically a professional modular film camera, which can take different films depending on what part you mount on the back.

They are some lovely shots my dear - well done.

I'm so jealous, I'd love to use pretty cameras all day!

Some first shots with the new camera. Nothing too special, just a mess around really:

Noob post. I thought this turned out kind of cool (the location more than the photo)...bearing in mind that I'm using a 6 year-old point and shoot...

I really like that shot Eddie.

I'm massively looking forward to Prague, I'm taking my Diana f+ with about 4 rolls of film. I'm sorely tempted to take my digital camera as well.

You should go in! I would.

It's not in a very secluded place (it's the main street to the left), and the door looks locked so I don't want to try forcing my way in there :s Must look for more urban exploration-worthy places though!

Thanks! Take your digicam, no film to worry about taking or replacing :) Looking forward to seeing what Prague is like through the Diana!

I really do enjoy the photos taken with iPhones, my friend is obsessed with it and always has some decent shots.

Here's some of the photos from Prague Zoo, they are done with toy colour just because I'm a toy colour fiend.

I love the second and third photos, nightwolf. They convey such an air of peacefulness! :) I find that the iPhone has problems with oversaturation, but that's nothing Photoshop can't fix.

Thanks Eddie, a lot of the animals were pretty restless which was a shame, especially the polar bears! :(, but I would definitely recommend going to Prague to see it!
