Posted November 26, 2006 It isn't really supposed to be scary, as the Director said in the Making-of, it supposed to be more of an action-thriller-drama. Gogo 20+ day late response! Well my friends hyped it to me (28 days later) as a scary movie. One of my friends said the part in the tunnel totally scared her the first time. Though, she's scared of pretty much everything. I guess I went into it expecting surprises and out-of-the-dark-rage-attacks and... well.. horror So, I started with some fairly irrational expectations. Posted November 26, 2006 Tenacious D : And the pick of Desnity 8.5/10 -> 9.5/10 The score varies so wildly because the launguage after a while kind of makes the film a bit vulgar, especially last song in the film, near the end of it, with the devil was just plain vulgar. Apart from that, one of the funnist films made in the last year. Plus saw a snazzy trailer for "Night At The Museum" which looked likes it could be a blast. Posted November 27, 2006 Star Trek 8 - First Contact Easily one of the better Star Trek movies, despite being directed by Jonathan Frakes. A brief, slightly cheesy plot point (time travel) in, and it really gets into it's stride as the crew set about battling the Borg as the ship slowly gets assimilated one deck at a time. However as upset as Picard gets, James Cromwell and Lily Sloane easily steal the show as the 21st century pioneering space scientists. Oh, and Data gets nasty like pigs with the Borg Queen. This movie is the best one in my opinion. 9/10 Scary Movie 2 Again hilarious, great one liners. MY GERMS! Ray-Fucked me! Take my stroooooong hand. FUCK MEEEEEEE FUCK MEEEEEEEE. Not as good as 1 but still great 8/10 Scary Movie 3. Oh Brenda how we love you. NOW WHO THE FUCK DID THAT! Very funny moments but the film hasn't got so many funny bits. 7.5/10 Scary Movie 4 In my opinion this is the worst. Funny at the start, gets more story driven and ruins the Scary Movie essence. Some great bits though. That woman raised me from birth! Great bit. 6/10 Date Movie The 2 people from scary movie who was involved in this probably were the shittest ones.
