Posted November 2, 2018 To preface: Anyway... No release date or business model have been announced, yet, but it's Activision and a mobile game so...TAKE A FUCKING GUESS.
Posted November 4, 2018 (edited) "Do you guys not have phones?" Wyatt Cheng (Diablo Immortal - Lead designer) "...you have two choices: either accept it or don’t buy the game. I’m fine with either..." Patrick Söderlund. (ex EA) "We have a product for people who aren't able to get some form of connectivity, it's called Xbox 360." Don Mattick (ex Microsoft) It's sad to see the gulf between gamers and gaming companies widen over things like this. Posted November 6, 2018 I just don't get why that was announced at Blizzcon? the audience is PC gamers and some Console gamers, all who want the next iteration on those platforms and they've paid to be there, why did Blizzard think this was the right forum/venue? they dropped the ball in spectacular fashion and they immediate response on stage of 'don't you guys have phones?' its right up there with 'sense of achievement' and 'getting a second job' of industry missteps 1
