The Netherlands guy appeared in the competition a few years ago with an amazing, amazing entry which should have won and only didn't win because of Conchita Wurst. I still listen to this song now. Beautiful song.

I'd love it if Bulgaria did it, or Australia. Also, Canada should totally be in this next year. #LetCanadaSing

Yes, after years of not qualifying for the finals because of extremely poor songs and ditto artists we shook up our formula from publicly chosen songs to jury chosen songs. After that we only missed one final and managed to place within the top ten most of the time. I don’t see Waylon ending in the top ten this year and think that’s a shame because it really is a very nice song. Just not very well suited for Eurovision. It's a good song, just not as memorable or as beautiful as "Calm After The Storm". @Eenuh is still disappointed that Belgium didn't qualify. I do think they were unlucky. Had they been in semi-final 2, they would have definitely gone through.

I think there are a lot of songs in this final that are by far not as good as Belgiums song.
Posted May 12, 2018 The interval acts turned out pretty well. I'l probably rewatch them for a good while.

Well apparently these are just the jury votes, which would be based on the rehearsal from yesterday. So the pity points will come from the public later!
