Switch eShop Thread

Played through and finished Wonder Boy (or Wonder Girl to be more accurate) yesterday, it's a great game that holds up well, really liked the ability to switch between modern and retro graphics and music on the fly.

Got all the crystals, but not the equipment, didn't feel like grinding for the money. I grinded for the Heavenly Shield but then found out their was another shield afterwards you had to buy.

The underground and the area after was a pain, then I found out I had the wrong shield equipped which didn't help. That's one of the issues I had with the game, it's nice that the equipment bonuses change depending on what form you are in and gives you a reason to keep using them but it was a pain having to re-equip it every time you transformed.

Second issue was that the game doesn't really explain what the special attributes are, I found out what the Tasmanian Sword did by accident and at first I thought the enemy did it.

The Lizard form seemed a little underused, it's the only form that didn't get used in the final dungeon.

I don't know if it's the game or my Pro controller, but it kept registering me holding up while using the analogue stick as I sometimes went through doors by accident, it's probably the only reason I found the Tasmanian Sword.

Anybody played Gear Club. Looks good.

Does look good. Have you read NintendoLife’s review. They say it’s more arcade based than sim, good, but held back by its mobile roots. Think I’ll get Mantis Burn Racing instead.

I'll get back to you to elaborate, but in short: the gameplay is annoying, and so is the robot.

Looks like Zerodiv’s next Arcade release is Gunbird.  Just appeared on the US eShop for next week in the Coming Soon section!

Tried playing Mantua Racing online and couldn't find a match!

That's a damn shame.  It's cross-play online as well, isn't it?

Worrying. Did it seem easy to play against friends

I'm looking forward to picking up and playing Phantom Breaker. I'm hoping I will be finished Xenoblade 2 this evening and then i'll be able to crack on with PB. Game looks amazing.

I'm nowhere close to finishing Xenoblade, but I'm getting this as well regardless, as well as Sexy Brutale. Maybe support for Phantom Breaker will also help getting their visual Novels localized.. Steins;Gate elite would be a good choice, though I'm probably going to pass on that (probably), but I'm definitely hoping Anonymous;Code makes it here.

Anyone else having trouble getting on eShop?  I'm getting an "unable to display page" error message.

Never mind, doesn't seem to like my bedroom.
