Monitor suggestions

I currently looking for new monitors and I'm currently thinking about getting a 144hz monitor for gaming, currently considering this model: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00HZF2JWA although I've never heard of Ben Q before. It generally has good reveiws on Amazon.

 

But since I'm looking to buy 2 monitors for a dual monitor set up, I'm also considering getting a single wide screen monitor, has anyone used one of these and does it still act like a normal dual monitor setup?
