Xpert Eleven Season 35

Recommended Posts

Apologies for the lack of a traditional run-through of teams but I have been very busy.

The season has already been created so you should all be prepared for Friday's games. I wish everyone the best of luck for the new season :)

The lottery for Season 34 will be drawn by the end of the night.

Due to lack of interest I'm not continuing with the spotlight competition. I'll keep the alliances going as it means more teams with a chance of getting free VIP in the lottery - not just promoted teams. The predictions competition is also running again for anyone that wants to have a go. Just go on to the league forum on the Xpert site to take part.

Well, some of these team names are something to think about. I mean, i played a team today who was called "I need my Arshaven" Yes, i had to double take on that.

After a home draw with Eights, I'm currently on a run of 3 away games to Inter (lost), Silverdale (draw) and next up is Lylat... so no doubt I'll be staying in the drop zone! Haha

Another loss recorded, 3-1 to Coventry City. Some of them teams are strong, it feels like it's impossible to try and win.

Very disappointed by the lack of activity on this thread!! Last season before the Sheldonians rise up and sweep upper league

Not to jynx myself but... perfect start for Winston Warriors. Pleasing amount of draws from my underlings. Routine win against inferior opposition today, the next few fixtures will be more of a challenge.

Concentrating on youth this season but I'm still hoping to be a thorn in the side of a few teams :p

@dan\-likes\-trees I don't think Sheldonians will have an easy a time as you think, their team isn't so different from the top tier of the upper league.

True enough - they're somewhat on a par with 2015 Winston. To be honest I'm looking forward to actually having some competition

Oooohhhhhhh

Just enjoying my one week at the top of the table

Aright nobheads who's up for some Words With Winston?First come first serve on the interview list.

Anything to liven up the forum - I don't want Winston's eventual, long coming first title come without a true blaze of excitement and glory

Haaaaha yes Tales!! Good to have you back. I feared you'd never show your face again after your shocking past season and a bit.

Luckily for me even if you do win on Tuesday I'll still be a point ahead and open the gap back up on the home fixture ;)

Bring it on!

A penalty in the 90th minute sees Eights United win 3-2 over Winston Garden Lions! The crowd went crazy!

Almost similarly, Yellow Submarine scored in the 90th minute against Lylat Wanderers which would've ended the match 3-2 as well but the goal was disallowed for being offside, resulting in a 2-2 draw.

Things just got slightly closer at the top. Feeling the pressure at all @dan\-likes\-trees?

Across all the results, probably the worst fifteen virtual minutes of my life. I saw the title flicker in front of my eyes, and then it drifted away.

Eights away was never a must win but devastated not to get the draw. What a a joke.
