Posted May 31, 2015 Iwata took to Twitter today and had the following to say regarding amiibo. Iwata also addressed the amiibo situation as well. Once again, he apologized for amiibo shortages. Posted June 3, 2015 I wonder if there's even an NFC chip. Actually, I wouldn't mind some cheap counterfeit NFC card versions of Amiibo.
