I think it's normal for it not to be big when it's not hard. I'm perfectly happy with mine. When it's flaccid (hate that word), it's okay I guess but then when it's stood to attention, it's bigger than average but it's not huge and it's pretty thick, apparently. I can honestly say I've never really given it a lot of thought. Losing my virginity was memorable because I made her cry because "it's too big", I didn't think it was though, I thought I was average. I think it is pretty ridiculous. Humans procreated for thousands of years with the tip on, only for someone to suddenly decide that it unecessary anatomy, and snip it off.

 

Having said that, once people are old enough they can do it if they want to, but doing it to children who have no say in it is wrong I think. (edit: unless it's medically necessary at that age obvs)

I'm basically the same. I don't think such a change like that either physical (circumsscaiscion) or non-physical (baptism) should be done to children who cannot decide for themselves.

If you're a child and it's deemed necessary on medical grounds, fine.

 

But I cannot fathom how it's accepted - common, even - to circumcise young boys without their consent. It completely baffles me.

As far as I'm concerned, non-medical circumcision (to a child) is mutilation and should be illegal. If an adult wants it done to himself, fine, but I can't help but think the idea that it's in any way good stems from cultures highly influenced by religion.

 

For example, apparently circumcision is quite popular in the USA, with a lot of women expecting their man to be circumcised (so I'm told). Well, any woman asking that should be told to go forth and multiply! It can't be a coincidence that Judaism has highly influenced all aspects of American culture and politics. I don't dislike anyone racially, I just don't think any religion should be above the law or be powerful enough to prevent laws being made about them.

I don't usually ever talk about this kind of thing but I feel I should stress that this procedure could be the worst decision a person or parent can make. People can be left with mental as well as physical scars that affect them for the rest of their lives, for no justifiable reason (even medical) that I have become aware of. In turn, it has the potential to effect more than just the person getting the cut. Plus I have never heard any adult who got this done say anything other than it ruined their enjoyment of sex.

Mainly due to the nerve endings on the tip of the penis becoming less sensitive than if the foreskin was left uncut. I know jewish children have it done due to religious reasons. And it can be done as well on medical grounds, as it's been discussed here already.

 

Myself on the subject and my opinion, it is purely choice if the gentleman wants to have it "cut". With children having it done on the parents consent, that's cruelty. Unless it's medical or religion-based (i'm still iffy on that part), then no. You are after all harming the child.

You might last longer but is that worth sacrificing the enjoyment? You will be losing the nerve endings in the foreskin, and possibly elsewhere along the shaft if mistakes are made, and sometimes they remove the frenulum too. And the glans will dry up and become rough, losing sensitivity, and meaning you will want lubrication to avoid possible pain when you should be enjoying yourself.
