Posted August 7, 2013 https://play.google.com/music/ Google Music All Access is now available in the UK - essentially Google's version of Spotify. It's currently just PC and Android, but an iOS app is in the works. Free for 30 days then £7.99 if you sign up before the 15th September.
Posted August 8, 2013 Does this include the republic of Ireland?
Posted August 8, 2013 Yes it does. They've added it to Austria, Belgium, France, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Portugal, Spain, and the UK
Posted August 8, 2013 Will wait until the iOS app or Sept 15th, whichever comes first. My phone battery is poor enough so would rather get it on my iPod and Spotify will do for desktop at the moment.
Posted August 8, 2013 Work blocked Spotify so I moved to rdio. I only use the £4.99 option and I'm not sure an extra £3 is warranted. I've signed up for it though, and will see how it goes. The rdio interface is better, and the library is similar, I know that much already.
Posted August 8, 2013 I thought Rdio just played random tracks rather than playlists you create yourself?
Posted August 8, 2013 You are thinking of something else, probably Pandora or last.fm.
