Call of Duty: Ghosts

I just meant in terms of design really.

I thought it looked more like last year's Tranzit mode in Zombies. I loved Gears of War (had it on PC) and I really thought the design of the architecture and the overall visual style in that was wonderful. Despite the fact the world around you had been ravaged the buildings looked magnificent.

This just looks 'meh' to me.

What's more, the large 'eggs' on the ground and the multiple creatures running on all fours just looks like a second rate Alien rip-off to me!

Call of Duty: Ghosts' clan system not a part of Wii U

Coming from the official FAQ...

Q: Why is there a new Clan system for Call of Duty®: Ghosts?

A: Clans in Call of Duty®: Ghosts will include deeper in-game integration and more features, from in-game Clan Management and Clan–specific playlists to the all-new Call of Duty® Clan Wars game mode available in the new Call of Duty® app. This year also introduces cross-platform Clans, allowing players to create and/or join a single Call of Duty®: Ghosts Clan across the following platforms: including Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation®3, PlayStation®4 and Windows PC.

Emmanuel Bagirov @BagirovEmmanuel

@OneOfSwords Why is the Wii U excluded from the clans feature in your FAQ?

Dan Amrich [1oS] @OneOfSwords

@BagirovEmmanuel I am basing it on this document, which does not list Wii U as supported by the Clans system: http://ow.ly/qgyzT

The perk system explained:

Equipping Perks

Each of the 35 available Perks is weighted with a point value of 1 through 5. Your loadouts naturally have a pool of 8 points to spend on Perks, up to a total of 12 depending on your loadout choices.

In addition to the initial 8 points, a single Perk point is tied to the Primary Weapon slot, Secondary Weapon slot, Lethal and Tactical. Take away any one of these items for an additional Perk point, allowing a maximum of 12 points to spend. If you’re a Perk fanatic, you’re welcome to forego all weapons and equipment, starting each spawn with only a knife in hand and 12 points worth of Perks. It’s your choice.

Perk Unlock System

Perks are unlocked in one of two ways. Each Perk is marked with a level and a Squad Point cost. Once you reach the listed level, the Perk is automatically unlocked for use. If you’d rather unlock a Perk early, you can also choose to spend the listed amount of Squad Points for immediate access. Can’t wait to unlock Blast Shield for your Domination matches? Pay the listed Squad Points ahead of time and it’s yours to use.

Perk Categories

Each Perk belongs to one of seven different Perk Categories. Mix and match as you see fit to create a near unlimited number of loadout combinations, from quick and stealthy to tough and armed to the teeth.

Looks a lot better than the trailer actually!

@kav82 @lostmario @welsh_gamer - This is it guys, the moment the Nintendo version of COD leaks. It's the point of the build up when you know it's real, you can feel the electricity in the air - the Nintendo version is finally real and tangible. Oh my, despite the disappointment of Black Ops 2, even I must admit to feeling a small amount of hype at the sight of Wii U screens.

Praise be to the mighty internet and gaming leaks!

Another extinction mode trailer:

Looks pretty good actually.

And the classes for the mode:

Weapon Specialist

20% more bullet damage.

The Weapon Specialist focuses on one vital task: destroy as many aliens as possible. The extra bullet damage really comes in handy when dealing with heavily armored threats or when fighting back a swarm of smaller enemies. Weapon handling continues to improve as the Weapon Specialist gains levels.

Tank

25% more health.

The brute of the group, Tanks stand at the front and take hits that would otherwise knock out other, more fragile classes. The extra health lets you play more aggressively, getting into the thick of things and coming out alive. Additional levels further improve the Tank’s health in addition to their lethality.

Engineer

Provide armor for the drill and earn more bonus cash.

Without a functioning drill, your team will have a very difficult time progressing. The Engineer offers much needed protection to the team’s drill, incredibly useful during moments when you get overwhelmed. Drill maintenance and trap efficiency improve as the Engineer gains levels.

Medic

Revive allies more quickly.

When things go wrong – and they will go wrong – the Medic’s there to pick up the pieces and get the team back in fighting condition. Fast revivals can mean the difference between success and failure, and an active Medic can help turn the tide of an intense battle. The Medic gains faster movement speed and powerful healing abilities with additional levels.
