Posted March 15, 2017 http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1352672 Not directly related to the VC, but it looks like Capcom managed to secure the rights to re-release their Disney licensed titles for NES! This is probably being handled the same way as the Mega Man Legacy Collection (and probably by the same people, so i expect it to have all the same quirks as that collection), but it should mean that these games (and possibly Capcom's later Disney titles) are now potential candidates for VC releases when he Switch VC launches! Posted April 19, 2017 n-europe Presents VC Weekly #400 Demon's Crest About half a page of thanks in this milestone edition... ...there's an updated review in there somewhere though! I really don't know where that past decade went. (Let me know if you find it.) Anyway, thanks to anyone who's ever read VC Weekly. Check inside for the verdict. Enjoy! : peace:
Posted April 19, 2017 Funny you should put out this review right now @S\.C\.G, because I just so happen to be playing it right now on Wii U! Great game BTW! Action gameplay polished to a mirror sheen, wonderful stuff! (Also has a surprisingly good localisation for its time, a rarity for sure; especially when you consider that it came from Capcom and was a rare, non text-light game from them! Yes, the same Capcom that completely mangled Breath of Fire 2!)

Yes, the same Capcom that completely mangled Breath of Fire 2!) It's one of those amazing titles, the likes of which we'll probably never see again so it's just really great that it's easily playable on two current Nintendo platforms now. I'd gladly play through Demon's Quest again on the Switch from start to finish, the same as with Super Castlevania IV plus a few other titles I've had the pleasure of experiencing thanks to the Virtual Console over the past few years. Gosh, I really hope we get a few more TG-16 titles as well, plenty of untapped potential there even for some re-releases of titles we haven't seen since the Wii like Lords of Thunder or Blazing Lazers. Posted April 21, 2017 NO! Demon Puns! Demon Puns everywhere! I played Demon's Crest when it released on the WiiU VC and I loved it. Which is impressive, considering I'm not a fan of the Ghouls N Ghosts games. What with @Dcubed starting it (Finally) and reading your review, I'm really tempted to get it on 3DS and go for the golden ending this time.
Posted May 3, 2017 n-europe Presents VC Weekly #401 Castlevania: Dracula X Apologies for this poor imitation of Castlevania: Rondo of Blood being released again... ...even if it is portable. Just because you can take this game with you, doesn't mean you should. Hopefully TG-16 games on the Switch will be a reality so that people can play the best version of the game on the go. Check inside for the verdict.
