Hmm, I've wanted to play Metroid Prime: Hunters for a while, should I just get a physical DS copy? I've not tried any of the DS emulations on Wii U, are they any good?

They work perfectly well. You'll have to fiddle with the virtual console menu (Press ZR on the Gamepad while playing) to find a screen setup that works with the game you're playing though.

For example, here's an option with putting the focus on the touch screen.

You must have JavaScript enabled on your device to view Miiverse posts that have been embedded in a website. View post in Miiverse

That displays on one screen, it's good for games that use the top screen as a map, etc.

It works in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, but it'd be terrible for Metroid Prime Hunters.

I imagine the option to have the touch screen on the Gamepad with the top screen displayed on the TV would work best.

I've always wanted to play Metroid on Wii, but I thought that I need Wii Mote plus for that, so I've never started it and I've sold my Wii. I still can't believe it.

But I will probably buy Wii Mote Plus, so I can also play Zelda SD, but it will not happen soon.

Oh Nintendo you are special little butterflies.

Their press release lists the Yo-Kai Watch price reduction as "€ - / £- / CHF until 01.10.2016, 11:59 UTC Regular price € - / £- / CHF -"

So I thought I'd check the eShop online so I googled "Nintendo eShop online" which took me to this page which mentions how I can do that...but gives me no way of getting there.

So back to the main Nintendo site and just search for the game name and upon clicking the item in the list I get the main game's main page where the link to another page then tells me the price. And the price is apparently £35 anyway as I forgot they take affect from the 16th.

Severed needs to be bought and played by everyone. It's one of my favourite games on the year. It will be interesting to read how the game plays on the Wii U and 3DS.

I'm gonna take your word for it on this one. Fingers crossed, you're on the mark with my tastes.

Maybe not all of our tastes. But I like to think we have some overlap. After all, we both like Monster Hunter.

And if you're saying that it's your "Favourite game of the year" (Fixed that for you), then it should be worth a look, right? Plus, the trailer was intriguing.

I think we enjoy Monster Hunter for VERY different reasons.

I class it as one of my favourite games of the year but that's just me. Although, @drahkon and @Ronnie enjoyed it as well. Plus, as I mentioned, i'm not sure how well the game will play given that the screens on the Wii U and 3DS are different from the Vita.

Yeah, own a few, but I'll buy every one I don't own!

Just picking up the castle miss I don't already have. There's a castlevania for gba. It says the first one for gba but doesn't have a subtitle. Is this a remake of the original or something? Don't want to buy it if so

While one of the GBA Castlevania games is regularly referred to as Circle of the Moon (presumably it was given this subtitle in another territory) it doesn't actually have this subtitle in Europe. I have the boxed GBA version and it only says Castlevania on the cover

I haven't checked the eShop but I assume it's that one  I've never finished it as I reached the final boss severely underpowered but it may be time to go back and level up!
